Hey there, Escapists! I'm a really happy man right now, and I'm sure my topic title can explain why. I just saw my first live show of a band ever, and it was amazing. I almost burst into tears at how good it was.
The band I saw was Kansas, most famous for their hits "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind", but every song they played invoked some kind of emotion in me, and there wasn't a single song they played that I disliked. I nearly started crying when they played my personal favorite of theirs,
and I was amazed at some of their songs I had never heard before, like this
Overall, for my first live show, I felt it was very much worth the money, and already one of the best experiences of my life.
So my question to you all is...what was the first live show of a band you ever witnessed, and how did it make you feel?
