Can't remember after that, but I'm pretty sure that's the order I usually got my first 5.

mine was bulbasaur from pokemon blue. being ironicly number 1.(which i didn't know at the time)

It's not that ironic, statistically, 33% of people playing got the number one pokemon first.

I got Charmander I think. First pokemon I ever caught was presumably a pidgey or some other shit one.

no i don't think 33% went for the plant instead of the turtle or dragon.

I think it was totodile, I didn't play the original versions till a few years after gold.

All my starters were: Red: Charmander
Gold: Totodile
Saphire: Mudkip
Diamond: Turtwig
Platinum: Chimchar

When HG/SS is released I reckon I will get Totodile again.
