Your first Pokemon Game?

I got pokemon blue when it first came out, as i only had a gameboy and a mega drive, and mega drive releases had basically stopped at that point

I got Yellow and Gold at a garage sale, but since my sister was the one who actually bought them, she got first pick, and so I ended up with Yellow, which is still one of my favorites today.

I still remember the year I got my first Pokemon game for Christmas. It was Pokemon blue and it was actually snowing that day as well, but rather than go outside and play I stayed indoors and played my game. I then moved on to silver, then Ruby and finally I stopped playing them.

I've always had the "blue" versions:

Blue
Silver (and soul as well)
Saphire
Diamond

Now I just need to figure out if black or white is the "blue" one and I'll be set

The first I played was Red. I liked it, mainly because I was a huge fan of the cartoon at the time and just the idea that I could do those things and go on that adventure was awesome.
The first I owned and truly loved was Crystal. I still remember the story of how I got it the day before it was supposed to come out, because my mum was too stubborn to accept that it was the wrong day, and we ended up finding it in this weird knick-knack shop. Nobody ever believed me

Either Red or Blue, I don't remember which because I got them both on the same day with my Gameboy Color. Think it may have been Red.

But after that I saved up for Yellow, got Silver and Gold when they came out, got Sapphire as a Christmas present and bought myself a cheap copy of Ruby just last year to finally complete Sapphire. I couldn't be bothered keeping up beyond that.

Edit: I totally forgot about Pokemon Colosseum. Good times.

Silver, also my first game. I went through the whole thing with my Typhlosion and Pidgeott until I got Lugia and Mewtwo. Then I traded in Blastoise and Zapdos from Red.
