After having looked back to find how/when I came to The Escapist, I decided to look at my first post which was apparently 2 months after I registered. Nothing too original, just replying to a thread question. It was in a thread asking what you'd do with console commands and me binding hand and head movements to notarget and noclip. Also money. Unfortunately I forgot to add a save point...
Anyway, to the point of the thread! What was your first post? Are you proud of it? Do you think it is particularly Original/Funny/Etc?
Or, if you intensely dislike your first post, use another persons that you liked. Give credit!

I'm really not proud of my first 50 or so posts.

Back then I was a computer-illiterate, regular illiterate idiot. Now I'm a fully-fleged forum lurker.

well... my first thread was defending FF7 and Super Mario world 3
in fact, some random halo zealot was bashing it so i decided to make an account and defend those games
so yeah

i guess fanboys are good for something
(don't get me wrong, I love halo just not some of the fanboys)

I can't remember...

My first thread was a thread where I compared the characters of Metal Gear Solid to consoles. It was kinda funny, I guess.

My first post was "why I joined the Escapist". I wasn't too specific on the full details. It certainly was not original.

Well, if you want to find it, it's in the back of my profile with my other 3800 posts.
I'm too lazy to go through it for a thread that pops up every few weeks.

When you say first post to me thread or a reply?

Ah well I'll just do both.

My first reply can be found here. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.141702?page=2#3178535

My first thread can be found here. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.141819#3178894

I have no problems with either of them.

the Topic was

Zero Punctuation: Prince of Persia

"Almost all games go bad after the 3 one. game creators milk good games for all their worth including the makers of PoP (prince of persia) the only game that has many aftermaths and are good are the halo series"

yep. that's what i said on my first ever post.

I cant step on the bottom stop of a flight of stairs, if i did, i would get this shiver and my body would shut down untill i went back up to the top of the stairs and then skipped the last step, it got really annoying on a bus, i would have to chase it...

I want an anonymous source to say "this one"
Here's my first post, on a discussion on whether we should have a controvesial discussion section: "Feh, all issues should be disscussed, not hidden or left unspoken"

My first was commenting a ZP video. But I did write it with proper spelling and grammar, which I'm pretty proud over. And it was pretty articulate and not at all a generic comment.

"cant wait for modern warfare 2, assassins creed 2, ratchet and clank: a stitch in time, and bioshock 2. funny how they're all sequels."

That was my first post, unedited, on most anticipated games of 2009.

I was really bad with grammar back then. I would type like I do on msn.
