What game was it? Where did you play it? Why and when did you play it? What did it feel like?
My first game was Spyro 2 for PlayStation. My dad bought it for some reason and I loved it! It felt like I finally found my purpose in life, and that purpose was playing games.
How was your first encounter with a game?
Spyro 1. My 4th birthday.

Urrrrr....

God...it's so hard to say. The first video game I owned was Dragon Warrior for the NES.

But...the first one I played....

Hmm.....

That would have to be....Centipede on the Atari 2600.

My first game was called Dark Cloud for Playstation 2. It was one of those games where you went into the dungeons and saved the world.
I was only like 7 at the time and when I first got the game I was afraid to go into the dungeon cause i was scared of the monsters lol.
And apparently now its a pretty rare game.

We share the same first game. I loved it, and still do. I'm looking at it right now.
I remember wondering how the citizens ever ate, or where they slept, etc, without realizing that the game wasn't supposed to be realistic.

I was also scared of the second boss. I believe it was "Gulp".

2 Games for PC where my first games. Age of Empires 2 and Empire Earth. I did have alot of fun with Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom when I still had the CD key...

If consoles are "Video Games" officially, which I'm sure they're not, my first console games where Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. You know, back when they were actually good?

oh wow, im not even that old 21,

but my dad was quite a computer geek, i remember playing those old ass games where you had to type what you did(kings quest, first 5-6larry games, hero quest i played alot, not the board game, old pc game)

and me not speaking english native, i had to call my aunt everytime i needed to know what the english word for look, search and all those commands was really hard at the age of 8, and its actually funny to think about those games got me so hooked back then, i remember "Master of magic" how many hours i didnt spend playing that game, and the hassle my dad went through to upgrade our old 486 to 16mb of ram:D

oh yeah and Dune 2, the first and most epic RTS ever, tried dune 1 also back then cause i thought the second was good, but i never really understood that game,i was too young i think and not really into english

1992 for Christmas I got a SNES so naturally I first played Super Mario World. There may have been an arcade game or two before that but I couldn't possibly name them.

My 1st video game (and I'm showing my age here) was Space Invaders on the Atari 2600. I was five and at my (much) elder sister's 21st birthday. They put all us younger kids in a room with a tv and the Atari and left us to our own devices. To this day I blame that damn mothership sound-effect for my gaming obsession :)
