Your funniest GTA Online moments.

So now that GTA online has seemingly stabilised a bit, I was hoping to have a light-hearted discussion about the game. In saying that, what is the funniest thing you've done/seen in the online game so far?

Mine would be a toss up between either:

My friend and I both grabbing separate helicopters and targeting a random player, then swooping them out of nowhere whilst they try to drive, or;
Using the in-game phone to text someone, simply stating "You're dead" then parachuting to their location, gunning them down, then getting a $9000 bounty placed on my head.

Both times I was in absolute stitches. I've never had so much fun trolling in a game before.

Yeah, I've seen a CargoBob used for a more...nefarious purpose, actually. Such as picking up people in cars, taking them to an obscene height, and dropping them to their death.

Probably the funniest use of one that I've seen, though, was the first time I saw a bounty get placed on someone. All of a sudden a big red dot appeared on my screen. Now I had just spoken with Lester and unlocked the ability to put bounties on people, so I figured that's probably what it was. I WOULD have gone after the bounty, but I had just robbed a liquor store and had 3 stars (the rat-bastard store clerk pulled a gun on me after I had the money so I had no choice but to blow his frickin' head off). Anyway, I'm making my get away from the police and their helicopter, heading straight through town towards the train tracks so I can get into one of the train tunnels which is truly the ultimate spot to hide from the cops. On my way there, I see that the big red dot is nearby and sure enough there's a swarm of big white dots converging on it.......including a CargoBob flying through the city carrying a frickin' ambulance which it tried to drop on the target...........and actually managed to squash him like a bug.

As for me, one of the funniest experiences has been the fact that a friend of mine has developed a strange habit. He'll join the game I'm in and I'll be off in the city doing whatever. Then completely out of nowhere he'll come flying - literally, as in completely in the air and at a very high speed - in some random car just over the right shoulder of my car, surprising me quite nicely. It's weird too, because I have no idea how he keeps getting airborne! Every time it's happened it's been in the southern area of the city where the roads are mostly flat. But that doesn't stop him from somehow launching himself over me when I'm certain he's just been trying to ram into me at full speed.

unfortunately i have a serious lack of GTA dollars at the minute and cant even consider a cargobob or a tank yet but heres my idea.

get one of us with a tank and one in a cargobob, pick up the tank then we have a flying tank of death. i tried it on single player and it works ok except trevor jumps out everytime i switch to micheal or frank. If the pilot is in passive mode it would stop the tank inadvertently blowing them both up too

Still, you should have seen the Ambulance Bomb that I mentioned in my previous post...it really was frickin' awesome. There were two players flying around in the cargobob and I gave them both $100 just for making me laugh so hard.

As for cash, I'm saving mine up to buy a house...that's gonna be my first big purchase. I'm up to about $117K or so. I could buy some of the cheaper apartments but every time I get to a new point to buy an apartment that would be a bit better than the one I was looking at before, I decide "Well I'm already this far...why not save up till $150 so I can get that REALLY nice one I saw across town?" Once I get there I'll undoubtedly say "Well I'm this far...might as well save up until I can afford the ones that cost over $200K".

So yeah, at the moment I've got a crap-ton of money in the bank, not enough for the apartment I'm currently interested, and I've got a piece of crap Dominator that spins out all the time and very few guns/little ammo. But at least I've got a goal in mind, and I'm actually making decent progress towards it. :3

That said, if you're at least lvl 15, doing the Survival missions is a fantastic (and fun) way to earn cash. Apparently they've officially nerfed the game so that you can't replay actual missions (that characters text you with) so you can't keep grinding on one that pays a lot by replaying it over and over...and beyond that I've heard that they're actually going to nerf the mission payouts in general so they give less. Yeah, that's just great, Rockstar...we've still got people having trouble logging in, people who's characters have been devoured and replaced by bald creatures with the face of a woman but body of a man, and all of some people's stats are getting set to 0...but that crap can wait. Damnit, people are making too much money too quickly! We've GOT to do something about that!!!

im genuinely surprised noone has thought of this. theres a few vids on youtube where people have picked up a tank but i cant find any where someone has done what i done and put someone else inside the tank

doing this online would be a force to be reckoned with though, an unstoppable grief machine

So far my time with GTA: Online has made me realize how much of a prick I've been to the pedestrians in every GTA game. Because before I'd even gotten through the tutorial I had been gunned down twice and the opening race segment was essentially me getting Demolition Derbied around by a group of strangers while Lamar chastised me. One guy wouldn't even race, he was just driving the course backwards to try and disable other people's cars.

I spent about 5 minutes climbing up that crane, (That crane next to the building being constructed... You know the one) tried to jump off and parachute down, as I jumped a helicopter came out of nowhere, hit me with the blade and killed me. Not helpful, but fucking funny.

Me and my new GTA friend being cursed out by a southern red neck family....yes, the whole family. People shouldnt use Kinects as mics. I tried to inform the parents that their kid is playing an M game, but she was under the impression GTA is a game for kids.

It's the silly little things that make it hilarious, me and a mate went into the strip club and he went off for a private dance, I waited outside and told him to engage maximum groping in an attempt to get thrown out.
Instead he noticed you can "flirt" with the stripper by chatting to her with the headset and I was treated to gems such as "WHEEEEEEYYYYY! YOU'RE SUCH A SLAG!", then with perfect comic timing a cockney voice chimes up saying "shut the fuck up will ya?"

Well my funniest moment was ... well.

I had finally managed to get onto a online game.
First my car and me got hit by these nobs.
Then my car only went slowly.
I couldn't do any heists.

Then the punchline was when I was KICKED from the game ... the best part was when I couldn't join again.
ISN'T THAT ... SOOOOO FUNNY!
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Okay, before the mods come and smack me with the hammer I should say something less rage like.
Basically my favorite part was when I was chased by ... well everyone and thing on the beach in the sunset.

I was honestly expecting them to buy me dinner first. XD
