I find I can't play many indie games, with a few exceptions, and normally steer clear of them. Then again I don't like many mainstream AAA titles.
So I'm not the only one!? Oh and Link was the best character in SSBM.Teckdeth said:Oof, I'm probably due for a bollocking for admitting that, indeed:
I've never completed, or even liked a Zelda game.
I respect them oh so much, I know what they've done for gaming as a whole, I get why the games are objectively good, but not one has been able to hold my attention past the first few hours.
If it helps, I like playing as Link in Super Smash Brothers Melee![]()
I agree. I was a bit mad at the ending until I played through for a second time thoughQueen Michael said:In my opinion, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is a genuinely good piece of storytelling.
I liked it too. The only thing that marked it down in my book is the healing mechanic.Dandark said:I really liked Too human and hope they make a sequel.
I removed myself from the hivemind, I prefer have my own opinions on things.MianusIzBleeding said:*snip*
if i may say, i think you need to look at master chief as a character in much the same way you look at DNF as a game. turn your brain off and have fun with him.darkcalling said:I have quite a few of these to get off my chest.
First off I preordered Duke Nukem Forever and loved it. It's not going to win any awards and YES it's filled with cliches. But if you turn your brain off it's fun. Though whoever designed that underwater stage near the end needs to be fired.
I have no love whatsoever for the Halo series, for one simple reason, Master Chief, He has zero personality, barely speaks, when he does speak it's only to spout generic action movie lines, and to top it off despite being a so-called super-soldier he never really seems to do much in gameplay that couldn't have been done by someone else. I've only ever finished number 2 and that was because of the Arbiter (Wish I could have played the whole game as him, much more interesting character).
Wish i could. My problem with that is that Halo seems to want to take itself too seriously which makes it hard to turn my brain off. lolRaiha said:if i may say, i think you need to look at master chief as a character in much the same way you look at DNF as a game. turn your brain off and have fun with him.darkcalling said:I have quite a few of these to get off my chest.
