I don't think it's a sin but I don't like the Elder Scrolls series I find it dull and boring

Well, I think Fable 2 was a far better game than the original Fable and that Fable 3 was a decent game (not good, but decent). The trick is to never listen to anything Peter Molyneux ever says, ever.

Also, I think CoD Black Ops is a better game than CoD Modern Warfare 2. Thought both were still pretty bad, like the vast majority of FPS games.

And finally, I think that the story is more important than the gameplay. If the subject matter of the game doesn't grab me, then I'd really rather play something else.

Just because games have a potential to be story-telling devices, doesn't mean they should be. There are ways for games to be amazing, artistic and fun without the use of story.

I think mine would be liking Carth from KotoR. Apparently I'm one of the very few people that do. There are a few others, I'm sure, but that's probably the biggest one. XD

I enjoyed FF2 and 12. (as far as i can tell they're amongst the most hated of the series for some reason)

I can't keep concentrated on ME2 for very long periods of time (yet i stayed awake for roughly 2 and a half days playing the first)

I haven't finished Golden sun dark dawn yet.

I haven't scoured the internet for a replacement copy of metroid fusion.

I enjoyed oblivion thouroughly.

I never really got into the half life series, not bad games per say just never hooked me, each to thier own.

I have so so sooooo many games on my Steam account I've bought in sales then never played

I really enjoyed Fable 3

I still enjoy playing World of Warcraft

what else....

Oh yeah, I hate myself for it, but I tend to have "knee jerk" reactions to self proclaimed "artsy", "indie games" or games trying to "make a point/deliver a message" and just think they are being pretentious or egotistical. I can't help it, I give them a try anyway and sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm proved pleasantly wrong.

I've enjoyed FFXIII after enduring the first 2 disks.

FFXII bored me to death, I got to Cid and I was like F!@3 this.

I like FFX-2 much better than FFX.

I like Majora's Mask much better than OoT.

I actually see potential in FFXIII-2, if Square pulls their head out of their ass.

I got very bored with Mass Effect 2, the combat is stale and 90% of the time I kept trying to find something fun to do.

I'm a huge fan of KoToR, but hate SW:ToR with a passion.

i dont like a lot of popular games, especially from the shooter genre (specifically ones that rip off either halo or call of duty), i also dont like minecraft, or most open world games (love infamous 1 and 2). what i want in games is usually 2 things, one i want a carefully constructed game that is usually easy to follow. i dont want to either create the game as i go along or have to search for something over a large map that isnt easy to find. the second is interesting. ive gotten old of most modern fps games cause its alway halo or call of duty. the ones i do enjoy are not, either cause they have no story (tf2), decent mechanics to fit the story (l4d), or something that has been missing from the fps genre for years, COLOR (doom original). infact most games i like fit into this area. Tf2 is carefully constructed and i can just jump in. Infamous has decent mechanics and color. god of war has plenty of color, even if its mostly red(lols)

Buying a slew of AAA titles, playing their openings at midnight having to work the next day, and never, ever going back.

FFXIII
God of War III
Assassin's Creed II (though I did continue it a year later for two days)
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Gears of War
oh, how the list goes on. None were compelling enough to make me go back.

I couldn't play Just Cause 2 for more than an hour. The game just really failed to draw me in.
I usually love sandbox games but this one felt heartless to me. I don't feel any pacing at all. When pulling off impossible over-the-top stunts is routine, I feel like there isn't much to look forward to. Plus, it has that Silent hill thing where people aren't exactly seeing the same thing I am. Everyone is so nonchalant to the awesome shit I'm pulling off. Jaded bastards.

I finished Resident Evil 4 for the PC with no mouse compatibility and genuinely enjoyed it. I also bought and played the hell out of The Sims 2 and it's expansion packs.

Oof, I'm probably due for a bollocking for admitting that, indeed:

I've never completed, or even liked a Zelda game.

I respect them oh so much, I know what they've done for gaming as a whole, I get why the games are objectively good, but not one has been able to hold my attention past the first few hours.

If it helps, I like playing as Link in Super Smash Brothers Melee :p
This.
Also, as someone else mentioned, I liked 'No Russian' because it reminded me of my days of playing SWAT 2 as the terrorists. Now that was interesting gameplay.

I don't think that BioWare have made a good game since KoToR:2 and that it was superior to KoToR in every way.
Better skill development, more varied equipment and while the story was hard to follow, I found myself intrigued till the end.
Whereas the last portion of KoToR made me feel like I was just going through the motions.
KotOR 2 wasn't made by Bioware. It was made by Obsidian. Same people who made New Vegas.

My capital sin... not modding Oblivion?
