I clean my keyboard, mouse and outside of my computer whenever I clean my office, about once a week. I blow out my computer once a quarter. I clean all my remote controls and controllers once a month.

I also clean my Kindle and my phone once a week, more if I feel they are grubby.

You ought to be careful, vacuum cleaner generate a lot of static, you could easily fry something.
I'm careful. It's low-powered, grounded, and I hold the fans still.

I replace all my controllers at least twice a month.

I can't afford new games ever, but at least my MegaDrive controllers are pristine.

I dust out the computer every month or so. Never cleaned the keyboard, should try it sometime though. Never needed to clean the PS3 or its controllers though. At least I never bothered to.

About every few weeks I will use a can of air on my PC. My mouse keeps itself pretty clean (I use an aluminum mouse pad back from when Banshee Pad was still around.) My keyboard is dirty, I've got kettle in it and all sorts of stuff.

I clean my computer thoroughly every two weeks at least, surface clean and get in and make sure everything is where it should be, fans aren't blocked, etc. Small checkups like that are a good habit to get into, trust me.

Vacuum cleaners are the worst thing to clean the inside of a computer with, besides the static they can also loosen and/or damage components on the motherboard.

I use an air compressor to clean the inside of my computer. I use the tops of pens to stabilize the fans (paper clips for the fans in my laptop) and then I blow it out. If you do not have access to a compresor then canned air will work.

If you smoke you should blow out your fans at least once a month because the nicotine is sticky and your fans clog much faster.

I clean my screens and keep my controllers clean by not letting people eat while playing with my stuff.

Other than that, I don't do much unless there is a problem.

My Wii is so wretchedly unused, it can't build up the the proper static to attract enough dust to require cleaning.

I clean them when I notice they're dirty. My consoles are all in a very open area so the dust isn't too bad.
