Oh I took my time on each course myself too. Aside from Blackjack, I have a standard record of roughly 120 streight victories in each course, and boy did that rack up the money and items. There are only a few peices of armor and weapons I don't have, but it's mainly for the characters that don't get as much of my time like Barts and Shantoto ect.. I'll get em some day on a bored afternoon.

PS. Black Jack is pretty tough. Even after destroying Chaos pretty handily in Inward Chaos, the most powerful enemy I've beaten is a level 134 Kefka so far...
Oh fuck just wait till you face up against the fucker Chaos between 130-150, you will experience true pain and frustration worse than the amazing no fault enemy AI. Be prepared for near instant break status if you're no prepared and you get hit, especially because of stupid chaos wing (what I call his little spinny attack). Just surviving one round with him is a friggen chore, by round 3 (if you make it that far) you're about ready to snap.
By the time he's close to death or round 3 he gets desperate and spams demons dance, devine punishment, sometimes scarlet rain, and that stupid pillar of fire attack that sucks you in (which leaves him impervious to staggering). You keep avoiding it over and over and over and your margin for attack grows shorter. Eventually you are gonna screw up and then Shinryuu comes to his god damned aid to seal the deal.
He will hurt you, and you will know pain. There is no running away, and no place to hide or be safe. ExDeath is the easy way out and even THAT can be a challenge. So be prepared to die about 50% unless you know your shit.
Level 150 Chaos, not the cheapest or hardest fighting game boss ever (he's quite balanced compared to most), but by god is he a basterd.
