Well she's certainly gotten more into games since she's gone out with me, but she doesn't have time for the most part, being in final year. I did get her big into Mario galaxy, Portal, Bioshock and to a lesser extent Fallout 3.
New Vegas has a lot more options that just "shoot them dudes, then solve this by shooting more dudes", and it has a way better story, so I'd imagine she'd like it a lot more when she has timefor me to force it on her play it of her own volition.
So she's not the full on gaming nerd I am, but definitely more than most people I know.

My lady is a gamer like me. She's mostly a big RPG nerd and has been into Dragon Age: Origins lately. We've been playing co-op Borderlands and Civ 4 and 5 a lot as well.
My girlfiriend used to hate my gaming. Then she got into gaming herself and started playing games more than I did... and after a while still used the fact that I played games (a not unreasonable amount of the time) as a way to get at me.

She doesn't mind. I just don't play when she comes over, although we do play DnD together (that's actually how we met). So yeah, seems to work out pretty well.

Now we live together and she doesn't ever play. Well, ok, she liked AC2 and DJ Hero. That's it. So when I play for even a few hours she often gets irritated at me. She's often "jokingly threatened" to throw my games/PS3/PC off the balcony. To which I usually reply "You'd be throwing our relationship away too" lol
So yeah, generally it's not bad but she definitely gets annoyed at my gaming habits.

She loves Counter-strike and Uncharted, so she definitely likes gaming.
However, I have yet to get her to play any games with me...she mostly just watches while my friends and I yell at the screen.

My Boyfriend is really into playing games, but isn't as into them as me if you get me? (As in, he could go ages without playing his MGS4, but I'd end up crazy if I couldn't play RDR for ages. I join forums about games, he doen't care that much about games to join forums)
We have a lot of similar tastes like CoD, FF, BF2. But our main games we enjoy we are so different it came to the point we brought seprate PS3's (we live together)
