If you wear glasses, what kind do you have? I notice a lot of different types, which suggests that choosing one's glasses must be a very individual art, to try and find the perfect ones that you like and think look best on you. Describe your glasses, even try to explain why you chose the kind that you have. Are they those thick black frames? Octovular (which one of my friends actually got; they are an octagon stretched horizontally to look more like an oval)? John Lennon style? I'm not asking for your prescription, because that's weird.

If you're gonna post a picture, put it in a spoiler please.

Mine are rectangular with rounded corners, with not especially large lenses. They've got silver half-frames too. I like them because I think they look really science (which is an adjective now).

EDIT: Just as a side note, what are the parts that go behind your ears called?

Mine are basic oval shape. Light blue. Cheap too. These arn't strong lenses either.

I rarely wear them anyways. As previously said, vision isn't too horrible.

For some reason, possibly to do with excessive headphone use, my glasses are really wonky. Which makes me self-conscious...

The lenses are a rounded rectangle, the frames are nice and thin and lightweight.

Brown and oval. I chose them because they looked the best out of all the ones I looked at.

I wear big, round Harry Potter - style glasses. I really don't like those slim, narrow types of glasses you see everywhere these days. It's like spying on the world through a mailslot wherever you go!

I wear rounded rectangular lens-ed glasses, and its full metal around them, and hard plastic for the earpieces. These ones have lasted the longest out of my other glasses and they look good on me, so im a happy camper with them.

I have a pair of Ozzy Osbourne-esque glasses that I use, but I also was able to get custom made lenses for my glasses with rims that are shaped like beer mugs.
They are awesome.

Plastic rounded rectangle. Just like everyone else.

Oh, and I have separate glasses that I use as sunglasses. I would never do transition lenses.

Large lenses. Metal frames, pretty basic. They are the most beaten up pair of glasses you'll ever see, though.

Rounded rectangular lenses. Nothing too fancy since I don't need to wear them all the time. Just when I need to read smaller text from far away or when I want to see all the details of a movie, due to the fact that I'm somewhat near-sighted.

I wear Ray-Ban RB 5088 2034 glasses (5088 is the product code, 2034 is the color code). They're some kind of plastic composite, pretty solid, and, well, this:

And here is what they look like on someone's [my] face:

My glasses before these were simple oval frames made of metal. I got those because I wanted something simple and small, because I can't stand huge glasses (regular glass OR sunglasses). At the time, my preference was still to get something "squarish," but I was unable to find something I liked. A few years down the road, I finally found a pair of glasses I liked and got them...there're no other reasons other than I believe them to look good.

i wear rectangular glasses with as small a frame as possible. I've never really liked needing glasses so i try to make them as invisible as possible.

Mine are huge dorky aviator-style ones. They replaced my plastic-framed ones about a year ago when I got hit in the face with a football. These ones are a lot more durable, but, as previously stated, make me look an idiot :p

They're silver with oval shaped eyepieces and they're pretty old. The metal isn't much thicker than a wire. And I love them.

Mine are half rim glasses with rounded rectangle lens. the lens is quite thick, especially compared to the frame, which is quite thin, but not too thin. I chose them because they were the only ones I could find that I liked the look of. I usually wear them all the time because I couldn't see much details either, being short sighted.
