Your Go-To DoTA 2 Hero

So, fellow Escapists, let's talk DoTA 2.

With the sudden flood of beta keys given to current players, I received an opportunity to try out the oh-so-popular Defense of the Ancients 2, a MOBA-style game published by Valve.

In my mere 14 hours of playing, I have latched on to Razor as my go-to hero to play as. His speed, primary offensive ability (Plasma Field), and ability to steal damage from enemies make him an incredibly fun and efficient hero, at least for my play style.

Just 'cause I'm in a DoTA mood, what are your favorite, go-to heroes in DoTA 2, fellow escapists?

Lion. I love playing the support role, and Lion has everything a support needs: a stun, a mana "generating" spell, a second disable and a high-damaging spell.

Drow Ranger.

I first picked her as she seemed like the typic rouge in an RPG and stuck with her ever since. I haven't touched a single character yet.

Rubick or Faceless Void, but only if it seems my team will actually try to support me. Although recently I've been playing everything but all pick so I can use all the heroes.

Mid Shadow Shaman and Mid QoP and suicide Clinkz are what I do best. But I play whatever my captain picks for me.

Invoker or Rubick. Nothing like raping face as a powerful magus!
