Im going to say dark souls for now but skyrim isnt out yet so that may change.

Currently a tie between Portal 2 and Arkham City, but I have yet to play Skyward Sword, so I'm reserving judgment.

as it stands, dark souls is top of the list, havent played deus ex yet and i have no interest in skyrim, got big hopes on never dead tho.

Either, Portal 2, Batman: Arkham City, or Uncharted 3. I can't decide!

Arkham City so far this year, but it will inevitably be Skyrim for me, I love the Elder Scrolls games.

Next year will be Mass Effect 3 unless they screw it up, which is a definate possibility.

But if we go on what I've played so far this year, it would have to be The Witcher 2 or Batman: Arkham City. Brilliant games, both of them.

Portal 2. It gets overlooked because it was early in the year, but in terms of the design quality from start to finish, it is the most concentrated dose of genius you can find.

I agree with this, Portal 2 was not just one of the best games of 2011 it may have been one of he best game of all time (so Far)

So far, definately Bastion. Amazing gameplay, great upgrade system, fantastic atmosphere and flawless story.

Still hoping for Skyward Sword to give it a run for its money
