I guess it would have to be when I accidentally stayed up all night playing Fallout 3 during reading week. Yeah, I've played lots of great games before, but this game was so immersive that I didn't notice I had been playing it for like 8 hours.

I have a lot of moments so i'll only say one unless i remember more:

Playing BF2142 i was piloting a dropship and being tailed by a gunship, i manage to evade all his attacks for the first 20 seconds but know he's getting sloer and closer to the killing blow.
I slow down slightly and watch him get into position behind me at which point i angle my ship backwards and start reversing into the guy, he's coming up on me so fast he doesn't have time to react and plows right into the backside of my ship, exploding on impact.

Meanwhile i've ejected and am slowly floating down to a soft landing.

Playing the campaign in Unreal Tournament 3, there's a CTF map with 2 sniper towers facing each other and the bases on either side, I decided to be a sniper, ended up with the announcer shouting all manner of "GODLIKE" and "UNSTOPPABLE" in my ears while I took probably 50 frags in one life.

Then we went into overtime because my team was too stupid to score. I jump out of my tower, run into the enemy's base, grab the flag (taking a shitload of damage), I end up with 1HP - hoverboarding as fast as I can back to our flag, energy beams and explosions are going of to the left and right of me. When I reached the flag, I swear I heard the distinctive "YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" of The Who's 'We won't get fooled again'.

Probably not as memorable as other examples, and probably not my best example either, but here goes. I just beat Ninja Gaiden 2 on hard, and it took forever to get there. The last 3 bosses weren't incredibly difficult, but the game itself up to then was frequently punishing. I just started hard mode again with my weapons maxed out and absolutely tore through the first level with the dual swords. So satisfying......

Mine was the first time I played Pokemon Blue. I just became so immersed and shocked at how much they could fit in such a small cartridge. I ended up putting over 400 hours on that game.

When I was in the {ISS} clan in Call of Duty: United Offensive. I miss those days... I wish it still had an active online community.

Playing Resident Evil 5 online for the first time, co-op with my friend. We had some good times. Fail moments, but good times.

-We were at the docks, near the beginning of the game; where the treasure behind the market stand-things was. I take aim at it with the launcher, but he jumps in front of my scope. I move it to the left, he follows. I move it back over, he follows, obviously by the laser sight. He tried to assure me he couldn't be hit, I fire, he dies. It was hilarious.

-After he got his launcher, he took a couple potshots at me with it, making sure to fire when I'd move. Apparently I'd lagged, jumped in front of a rocket and he hit me. It was still funny.

-The last was also a rocket launcher moment. But he was aiming around, enjoying his new toy and looking at things through the scope on a dock in the marshlands. Y'know, where the crocs are? Anyway, neither of us notice the croc swimming up, or the fact that he's got Shevas' feet in the water. Cut to Sheva being chomped on by a hungry croc.

I was playing MW2 (I know, booo) with my brothers on Rust. My older brother was getting super pissed (I was quick scoping with a thermal'd intervention), so I put on a class with one man army pro and stun grenades. Me and my younger brother took turns stunning him and slowly walking past, yelling "Nyaa! Nyaa!".
My older brother fell off the bed laughing.

Also, all of Kingdom Hearts 2.

GTA: San Andreas, me and my buddy were playing Co-op, and we decide we're gonna rain hell on civilians. We're making our way down the highway when the cops finally come at us, and my friends throws all, All of his grenades into traffic. It was like World War II for a second, and there were cars exploding, people dying, and a car flipped over me, and missed my head by an inch or so, and I look out of the smoke and confusion, and I see my friend on a motorcycle, and he's telling me to get on fast or we're dead.

It was on of the most adrenaline filled moments of gaming I've ever had.

Just Golden Sun in general, there's a list of RPG cliche's they have somewhere, and all I could think of the entire time is that Golden Sun slaps most of these in the face with it's penis.

It was a brilliant and well thought out series that makes me clamor for more.

Playing Gothic 1 over and over for years and then finally getting Gothic 2. Man was I ever excited. It lived up to it's expectations and more. Sadly I can't say the same for Gothic 3. Though it's still a great game.

My 32 kills as a Team Fortress 2 Scout on Capture Point 2-1 of Dustbowl. I would have lasted longer if the Medic actually healed Scouts rather than the Heavy taunting on the building. If it wasn't that, it was my 7 throwing knife streak on Modern Warfare 2's Underpass on campers.
