Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten (german soap) some years ago...
actually, its dutch
actually both series based on the same australian crap:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gute_Zeiten,_schlechte_Zeiten

but yeah, if the dutch series woudn't have made a lots of money RTL wouldn't have picked it up for the german market... now a time machine would come in handy.

Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Odd Parents. Don't ask, I just like the childish humour for some reason >.>
Also Miami Ink. I don't know why, I guess I just like looking at the artwork.

Most of the shows on TLC like "Cake Boss" and that show with the nanny. I find it enjoyable to watch reality shows and laugh at all the embarrassing things some go through.

Before I knew about the birds and the bees, I would always go home after school and watch Sailor Moon. Fast forward a decade or so and I still love the series.

I like the new Simpsons. Sure, it doesn't sound too bad, but a lot of people on this site hate the new seasons. It still makes me laugh.

My biggest guilty pleasure on TV right now is "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." But I'm not really embarrassed about it, because I don't get embarrassed about things. I find the emotion silly and it's much funner to laugh at myself.

In general, I hate reality TV shows, but I love Hell's Kitchen. I also think Gordon Ramsey is the fuckin MAN, despite the fact that everyone seems to hate him.

While pretty much every criticism thrown at it is more or less true, I still watch Family Guy. The same applies for American Dad.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

This may not seem embarassing to most, but I can't stand the vampire genre. My girlfriend is forcing me to watch them as I forced her to sit through all of the Alien/Predator movies.

Although the cheeky bint still needs to watch AVP2, and she's already started me on Buffy, and I'm secretly starting to quite enjoy it.

Jeremy Kyle. I despise everything about it, the "Guests", the presenter, the studio. I hate myself for watching it.

But damn it's addictive. Oh Claire, why did you sleep with your Boyfriend's best mate while your Boy was in prison?
And this. I also hate Jeremy, but think its hilarious how he talks to them all like scum. Which the majority of them are.

I watch "The Soup" and really enjoy it for some reason. I guess American Dad too, which is strange because I stopped watching Family Guy after it became too stupid and unfunny... I'm kinda waiting for American Dad to do the same but it's still pretty funny.

I used to watch two soap series, back when I was ten and it was the first time localized soaps where on Dutch TV. My whole class watched, just because it was the new thing to talk about ;)

I'm not ashamed about any show I watch, or have watched since then.

I've managed to come across 'In the night garden' while channel hopping a few times and find myself incapable of switching over for a few minutes, it's like taking a massive hit of acid and watching physics fall apart. If you watch it in an analytical way it's absolutely terrifying.

Life Unexpected... For some reason I get sucked in everytime the wife has it on.
Parenthood... Same thing, just more poignant.

Both have parts of what Gilmore Girls had going for it, but I don't expect either of them to reach the same level of quality of "GG". Gilmore Girls was like the writers from West Wing got stoned and came up with the ludicrous idea to write a sitcom about a single mom and teenaged daughter... and the next morning one of 'em actually remembered the conversation and called out the others to do just that. Heheheh. Seriously, if you haven't seen the show, the dialogue was that rapid-fire and perfectly executed.

I guess... My Name Is Earl. It's not a very good show, but it could have been. They've got a decent premise, but both the acting and writing is just.. bad.

I've passed up on a mate's party down my local so I could stay at home and watch Time Team...
You definitely made the right choice.

Mine are probably Gilmore Girls (the writings good and even though the two leads need to be shot, the secondary and tertiary characters are great), Glee (I like the music) and Cricket. I don't really understand Cricket, but its nice and relaxing to have on the TV in the background while reading/on the PC.
I disagree, the two leads in the Gilmore Girls are too hott to be shot.

OT: Mythbusters, but that's not really a guilty pleasure. I don't watch much tv, usually too busy on the computer.
