Although the post below mine mentioned TMNT on the NES, i'm pretty sure i got incredibly far but never fully completed it so props to that lad.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Hunter rank up quest 5-6 Dual tigrex. Solo. God damn that's some hard quest. Anyone who's played it knows what I'm talking about, and anyone who hasn't should be glad, because I swear that took years off my life. (Not to mention WoLaS in MHF1).

I got 30 of the spy achievements on TF2 the day the update came out. I played all day on the GTFO Gaming servers, didn't go on an achievement server. Got them all on accident too.
I think I'm just about the only person who got the spy weapons the old fashioned way. I didn't get any of them from random drop, I got them all at the same time when they reintroduced the milestones.
There was one round I was particularly proud of. 1 hour game on badwater (or rather 3 games I think). I had 200 or so points, the guy in second had 90. My point/death rate was 20 iirc.

That achevement cost me £269.99. Would have been an extra £32.99 but, luckily, my controller survived impact with the TV. The first TV... not so lucky

Quitting WoW, let subscription run out, not deleting characters and accounts, and didn't look back onto WoW website for 8 months. Had a look at catalysm expansion. Still haven't touched WoW since I quit. ^^
