Joe Satriani - Why? Because, he is probably the most awesome guitarist I have ever listened to. Every song of his that I've listened to - so far - is pure instrumental ecstacy. If you've ever listened to his songs, then you'd know that he is a complete monster on the guitar. He plays with a lot of soul and doesn't waste a single second where he could be picking, whammying, hammering, and whatever lingo they use in the crazy world of guitar music.

Did I forget to mention that he made a song titled "Surfing With The Alien"? Really, anyone who can come up with a name like THAT has to be more awesome than Chuck Norris by default.

No, scratch all of mine.

My hero is Mr Fox, my Geography teacher.

I mean, he owns his own I.T. company (which he gave to his son), has been in just about every country in the world, and is retired!
(He's a geography teacher because he's a 45-year-old workaholic) The best thing about him is that you can ask him just about any question, and he'll write an essay on it for you off the top of his head.

AND NO ONE DARE MENTION CHUCK NORRIS OR I'LL JUMP OUT OF YOUR SCREEN AND STRANGLE YOU!
(Oh crap... what have I done...)

Russian redneck, I love you. Saint joe has got to Be the best guitarist EVER. not only surfing with alien but every single one of his song is a unique experience unlike some of "play-one-riff-look-pretty" rockers(read:retards) they have on MTV today. But my second would be his students Kirt hammett and steve vai. those guys are awesome.

Rage against the machine are the most influencial bands to me. They speak the truth when everyone else choose to be ignorant.

I also admire yahtzee, he goes toe-to-toe with fanboys everywhere and is not afraid to say something sucks. He's striving to bring quality control back

My real life hero is my German-arse-kicker Grandad, He was a tank driver in WW2.
But my video-games heroes are Master Cheif and Link. I really can't decide between them ^_^.

I don't really have a hero, but i really respect Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He's not the greatest Actor and from what i hear, not really the greatest politician, but it is incredible how much he has archieved by never being satisfied with what he has, but instead working on a new, even higher goal.

I adore Jimmy Page. He is amazing. Hunter S. Thompson because he taught me to question authority. And Al Bundy, because no matter haw bad life seems at times, Al has had it worse.

Mitch Hedberg. He was quite unique and had to overcome crippling shyness to become a showman. I also have to say Jimi Hendrix, just for the amazing imagination that man had.

Norman Borlug, James Randy, Penn Jillette (and his partner Teller).

Fictional I have to go with AUSTIN POWERS. Not the fact that he was a secret agent, but that he stood for freedom, true freedom. Being who you are, letting others be who they are and really enjoying life for everything it is... Except Dr Evil of course...

Honestly, i do not have a hero. The closest thing i would consider to be a personal hero is my father. Sorry i didnt say "my grandfather", one died in the Korean War, and the other lives in Panama.

Any really good and original song writer.

For video games Arthas Menethil, because nothing ever stops that man. And Dark Side Revan for being a much bigger dick than I could ever hope to be. Also James Sunderland, for being bat shit crazy, and for good reason.

My Grandfather before he died because of some damn diesese the doctors don't know crap about.
He was Seventy-two before he got the diesese.
And at that time he could have kicked the ass of most 20-30-40 year olds.
He wasn't a body builder but his muscle tone was what most body builders would dream about.
