Walking down South Cameron street (Windsor, Canada) at 1 or 2 am on a warm late Spring or early Autumn night listening to Scandinavian metal.

Since I live in England I have no idea what South Cameron street looks like, but this, holy crap this. Maybe throw in a burger.
It's a long stretch of road that follows a little-used railroad track to the right and a forest to the left in the middle of a large town. Very serene street.
That sounds perfect. What kind of Scandinavian metal are we talking here? I'm thinking some early Dark Tranquility, maybe some Kalmah.
Damn good bands. But it's primarily CoB, In Flames, Korpiklaani, and Nightwish. I cannot get enough Melodic Metal.

Excellent choices. Unless you're talking about current In Flames, in which case I'll have to disagree. Throw on some Clayman or Jester Race though, and I'm there.

Escapist's have such good taste in music.

Crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentation of their women.

On a more serious note:

Coke Zero, a good Sci-Fi book, and quiet.

Neither is strong or more important without the others.

Off topic: Everyone in this thread needs to be beheaded for blasphemy. It's the LAW!

Destroying your enemy, give yourself the satisfaction of letting them know it was you, and dealing the final blow.

Conan the Barbarian, right?

Yes. I was thinking of the Starcraft II version, but decided against it.

Either my beanbag, a good book, and a quiet day to combine the two, or a few friends, a small amount of alcohol, and copious quantities of banter.
Option 3 is a couple of friends, a room full of gaming equipment and/or a crappy b-movie, and Dominoes pizza. Or Tuesday evening, as I like to call it.

I don't know, never really had one, but here goes:

- My dream girl sitting with me on...
- A beanbag chair with a blanket and hot cocoa...
- While a thunderstorm rages outside.

That's about it for me... actually, I have another one, though it's not as good...

-Sitting in Subway with a footlong chicken and double cheese toasted sub...
- Reading Shortlist magazine...
- While listening to indie rock being played in the background.

That's basically the way I spend most of my Friday afternoons now, thanks to all my lectures being in the morning and my university being oh so close to HMV, Subway, CEX and Waterstones... :p

It's the demographic. Metalheads are disproportionately-represented on this site. And it is AWESOME!

I'm not as against the new In Flames stuff as most other people. It's not as good, sure, but it doesn't deserve the ire it gets. Think about it this way: In Flames on their worst night can still sing circles around many bands on their best nights. Same goes for Nightwish's Dark Passion Play and Metallica's St. Anger: not great, but still good.

...GnR's The Spaghetti Incident, on the other hand, is definitely as bad as everyone says it is.

I know it's a little benign and infantile, but that would make a damn good night.

Mountain Dew, a good book (preferably sci-fi), and some sweet power/progressive/alternative metal.
Or alternatively Fallout, Mountain Dew, and Taco Bell.
Or Mountain Dew, my cousin and his friends (who live halfway across the country), and taco bell (lol two of those three are replacable)
