My hometown claims to have the country's oldest public library, but like half a dozen towns in the US make the same claim.
Its of Philadelphia with a bunch of spoiled rich kids who drink a lot. Less are bratty than you would think though. Erm, I guess a neighboring town is where Joe Flacco (professional athlete) grew up. We're probably more known for that.

Well according to Wikipedia my birthtown's greatest shout out is that King Duncan from Macbeth, had his castle there.
Brentwood, England, home to the Secret Nuclear Bunker and unfortunately where lots of The Only Way is Essex is filmed.
My home town is in the south of Sweden. It's called Mjällby, and it's pretty much a suburb to a city called Sölvesborg. Mjällby is only known in Sweden because they have a fairly successful football team, and the only impressive thing about that is that they managed to get to the highest league despite being a really really REALLY small town. Hell, it's not even a town, it's more like a village tbh.
Sölvesborg does have a bigger claim to fame though, as Sweden Rock Festival is located here (technically, it's outside of Sölvesborg, but it's in the same municipal, presuming I used that word correctly.)
