To be honest I'm not sure if its the fact there's a genetic disease unique to the area caused by inbreeding, or the fact its the place a bunch of religious nutballs set off from to play there part in founding the nation that invented Truck Nutz.

Mind you they did spend there last days here in what is now the Plymouth Gin factory so I guess the Pilgrims were too drunk to do much else.

I should point out that I live in Reno now, which is less about "your home town's most embarrassing thing" because frankly this entire city's a fucking embarrassment. Except for the University of Nevada (which I attend) and Nu Yalk Pizza (run by some transplanted New Yorkers who serve a slice worthy of the Big Apple) there ain't a damn thing worth a nickel in this town. It looked better in Fallout 2.

Well posting for a mate of mine, Jean-Claude Van Damme was beat up in his city. Mr. Van Damme was drunk beyond recognition and threatened some local scumbags. They beat his ass to a purple pulp. Happened a few years ago. - City is Bucharest

And for my city? Steven Seagal visits it almost every 2 years. - City is Constanta btw, had to edit, forgot to put city name xD.

EDIT: After talking with some folks they informed me that Van Damme was actually near a whore house in Bucharest when he got beat up.

My actual hometown has nothing either good or exceptionally bad about it. I've never known a place so spectacularly average.

The place where I live at the moment, though, a little place called London. Y'might know it. The most embarrassing thing about this place, taken to include the whole of Greater London... well. There's a lot of idiots around, but that's the same everywhere so I guess that's not really embarrassing. I think the biggest blight on the name of our fair city is the fact that it includes Dalston. Bloody awful place.
