Okay, I looked around, but didn't find any threads like this, so i'll just keep going with it till someone kindly points me to one that's already up.
So, my idea is this:
It be a parody/satire of various nerd genres and games, in the style of old black and white educational films. It'll have the slick-haired monotone cheerful dude, who even when talking about Nuclear Holocaust and War will keep a cheerful tone (seriously, type in "30's Educational films" or "Duck and Cover" on youtube. Some vids are hard to find, but the ones you do are hilarious.)
So, each show would have a number of repeating gags: the host (who I've named Dave Gein) is your regular god-fearing egotistic american; their will be dumb acronyms like F.A.R.T. to spread a helpful reminder. The show will alwasy end with Dave giving a promise of survival, or your money back. Topics would include: Dealing With Psychopaths, the Polite Way: Making a Living after the Apocolypse: How To Be a Safe Zombie Hunter: Becoming a Forum Writer; How not To Look like an A$$. and ect.
