I did a career project for english last week, which made me wonder what dream job/career my fellow escapists would want to do if given the opportunity

and if you already are working that career what is it?

personally I'm thinking of becoming a live and studio session musician(bass guitar preferably) or a journalist

your turn :D

Lottery winner. about 10 mil dollars after tax would be sufficient.

I wouldn't have to work another day in my life! (4mil is all I would need to live the rest of my life without working, but I could have a potential family and such with 10 mil and still not have to work easily.)

If I knew the answer to that question I'd still be in college pursuing that career.

At the moment, criminal profiler of some sort. Part time fiction writer.

I used to want to be a pilot but I doubt I'll ever fit the physical requirements for it, too short and way too light. So I looked at other things and decided criminal profiling sounded good.

I've been out of college for two years now and I'm still looking for a decent job that would suit me. I was taking journalism at college, but I quit after two lessons because I found it so mind-numbingly boring. But don't let my experience with it put you off.

Video game tester. Always thought getting payed to play video games would be awesome.
Heh, careful what you wish for. Fun things, even gaming, can turn pretty tedious when it gets out of the "do for fun" area and crosses the lines of "have to do for a living". It would effectively ruin gaming for you, by making it feel like work :<

As for me, I've always wanted to be an engineer... don't really know why, could be that I always liked problem-solving and creating something new out of it. You know, to tackle the impossible little by little and slowly watching your ideas turn into reality...

Dream profession...
Probably... Masked superhero? Or professional movie critic. That would be pretty cool.

I would have liked to be a designer with Insomniac.
But they're in North Carolina and California, both of which are not very easily accessible to me. So I did not bother to try.
