.. No surprise here. At least, what I would want to a woman cos-player to be wearing for my appeal. Me? No idea.

Probably been said and will be said a lot, but I'd really like to cosplay as L from Death Note!

I need some grey lenses though!

I've never cosplayed before. The closest I did was a Black Hand Halloween costume when I was reading Blackest Night. Black shirt, executioner's mask and some duct tape for the grey symbols. A friend of mine once cosplayed as Dark Knight Joker, and did a good job.

But my other choices:
Ezio/Altiar: I think I have the basic whites, just need a friend to help me out with the details. I actualy found a place that sells (dull) hidden blades!

Luigi: Me and my older brother once went as the Mario brothers on Halloween, complete with marker-made moustaches (we were 7 and 8)! I think I could pull it off again.

Hush: Once again, I can pull off the basics. Just need someone to sew the little details. The bandages would make it tough to wear for long durations, though.

Monkey D Luffy: All I need is a straw hat!

Now what does that tell you of the sick mind that spawned the idea in the first place? :p

They don't call me a Lunatic for nothing I guess. XD

Yes, poor spine indeed. Then again I think the old gal did a breast reduction or something, because from the screenshots I've seen from the later games her busom doesn't seem quite as... erm... Epicly oversized as before.

Perhaps it's some kind of inverted wonderbra at work?
Ehh, most people on here are guys so my comment might need a double take. Not shocked that someone might assume I'm male.

Maybe an amazing sports bra?

Major Motoko Kusanagi would also be a fun one.

Well, I've actually started working on my first costume. It's going to be the Wonder Chef from Tales of Symphonia.

I'm going to have a lot of fun with the giant fork.
You're cosplaying as the Wonder Chef? The Tales of Symphonia Wonder Chef? I think I love you.

OT: I've already started working on my first cosplay as well- I'm going as Sheena from Tales of Symphonia.

Someday, however, I'm hoping to go as Lady from Devil May Cry. Or perhaps Litchi from Blazblue, though I have no idea how I could get the hair right...

I don't really do cosplay (it's called Halloween, people), but I suppose I would like to be a Gue'vesa.

Then again, I didn't (call me a sexist git if you like, but when someone refers to their own "boobs" I make a habit of assuming that it is a woman speaking). The opportunity was simply too good to pass up. :)

Then there's my general liking of displaying my morbid self from time to time to consider.

It probably incorporates some of that durable material that they construct the hulls of space shuttles out of.

Also, do you think dear Lara is old enough to have to wear steel-capped boots whenever she removes that particular sportsbra? I mean with the sagging factor to consider, her toes might become crushed if the poor girl isn't careful. :p

Hmm... What would her costume look like? The only defining feature I can think of is that ridiculous haircut she insists on having (then again it's manga/anime and I guess ridiculous looking hair sort of comes with the territory).

Then again in the movie she wore that optic camouflage suit that was pretty much completely transparent when the camouflage effect was turned off. And if that's the suit you're thinking of... Then I might just blush a little.

I did Barry Burton from Resident Evil a couple months ago for Anime North and that was my ideal one at the time. Easy to do for a beginner, but not something as simple as slapping on a naruto headband and calling it a day.

Next year however, I want to do something that require a bit more work.. so I'm looking into either Captain Falcon or Jet Black (Cowboy Bebop). Basically my ideal as of now is something that will take some time and effort, be recognized (Barry had a bit of a problem here lol), but still be reflective of a character I adore.

Basically I don't really have a one set character as one that is my ultimate goal, but rather I'd want to take one of the many characters I enjoy and make a cosplay that is really really good.

I saw a pretty good attempt at the Blue alien thingy from The Fifth Element in a drag bar in Montreal. My ideal cosplay outfit would be comfortable, really comfortable. Possibly Domo-kun.

That's pretty blush worthy. I wish I could go out looking like that.

I would think Mordecai or Roland from Borderlands wouldn't be too tough. All you'd need to do to have a decent gun would be go to the nearest toy store and repaint any recent line of NERF guns. All that's left after that would be finding a hat, goggles, a vest, boots, cargo pants and gloves.

Okay, you're right. But I was kind of thinking of the first Ghost in the Shell movie myself, that makes the term "see through" become somewhat obsolete.

Also, at certain nightclubs I've been to, some girls actually dress like her in your link... Strangely enough that didn't make me blush at all but it could have been because I was drunk or having too much fun to pay attention.

Still, you could go out looking like that. All you'd have to do is to get your brain plucked out of your body and stuffed into a cybernetic one. Although personally, I'd go with a Terminator-like model. Stripped of it's skin of course.

I hear the chromed skeleton look is all the rage these days :p

Psssh, I'm going to school to be a bioarchaeologist. I prefer my skeleton real and clean.

I look like Shepard from Mass Effect, and I have the N7 jacket so... that's what I would do. It's as close as I can get to cosplay without making a costume.
