It's Star Ruler for me. I can never get into it enough and I never seem to have time for it. I will get into it eventually though.

Arkham Asylum.

I've been meaning to finish it for ages, but I feel like I'm missing out if I don't fins all of the Riddlers things.

I am concerned that I'll reach a point in the story where I can't go back for the things I've missed. It'd be good if you were able to go through all of Arkham once you have completed it.

Can you?
I've finished the game, and once you do the game doesn't save. Essentially, when you've reached the last boss of the game, you've finished the game. You don't even need to fight the last boss. When you go to reload your save, it'll just put right before the boss and you'll be able to go and find all the Riddler's little items you can collect. The Riddler doesn't play a huge part in Arkham Asylum, he mostly fulfills the completionist edge some people have. Speaking of which, in the next game in the series, Arkham City, Riddler will play a much more substantial part of in the game. Honestly, if I were you, I'd just finish the game off and wait till the next one.

Folklore is my main one. And thinking about it, the main reason is because has no trophies, so I feel less of a push to get through it, as none of my friends will know of my achievement, which is a shame, because I've really enjoyed what I've played of it so far.
I've been meaning to pick it up, and I haven't heard too much about it. Is it any good?
I've done the first three chapters of each character. It's slow going, and it's mainly reading rather than cut scenes and voice acting, but it's really pleasant to look at, and the combat is relatively deep. There's a lot of grinding available too if that tickles your fancy - its definitely one of the main reasons it's taking me so long to get anywhere, as I have a horrible addiction to any form of monotonous grinding.

But to summarise, yes, it's a good game if you don't mind what some people would see as rather antiquated gameplay and storytelling.

At this current moment, for me it is Alpha Protocol and Resonance of Fate.
I started reading youre post thinking:"No, I don't have any games like that. I mean, I never actually started playing FF12 and it's still on my desk completely unopened from when I bought it over a year ago, but I haven't stopped any games I once started playing." Then I read Resonance of Fate and thought:"Oh, shit. That's right. I have that game, don't I?"

So, yeah, that's my answer. I seem to recall having gotten really far too. Still no real story to speak of, though.

I was like that with Fire Emblem: Radient Dawn until I traded it in... however my current "I'll get back to it" game is Professor Layton and the Lost Future. The puzzles no longer appeal to me after playing the first two games.

Grinding doesn't bother me since I can do that for hours. I've heard those complaints about the gameplay and storytelling, but that doesn't really tell me anything other than personal choice. I'd much rather hear an opinion about that game from someone who is actually enjoying it since that game has elements in it that I actually like.

So thank you for that.

I've got a stack of these. Mostly due to Steam sales - I doubt I'm alone on that front.

As it stands:

Bioshock
STALKER: SoC
Assassin's Creed
Call of Juarez: BiB
Far Cry 2
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Braid
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (not boredom, got frustrated with a mission I couldn't beat)
Sins of a Solar Empire (I know this is supposed to be brilliant but I just can't find the motivation to put in the time and hit a learning curve so steep)

I can add Bioshock 2 and Alpha Protocol from the Steam summer sale.

Part of the trouble is that, once I've left a game for so long, I find it difficult to get back into the story, so I tend to start all over again. Obviously, time is my issue and this only makes matters worse!

For such a long time, Uncharted 1. Hated that game. I only recently finished it because it was taunting me in my sleep.

I never get back to 'em.

Though I guess one I will return to is my second Mass Effect 2 playthrough. I'm gonna import the save to ME3 so I have like a year before the deadline.

I have a bunch of games like this:

Bioshock 2 - Rented this when it came out and played through the single player, then bought it months ago when I got my PS3, my first game for that system. Played some of the multiplayer and actually really enjoyed it and got through half the single-player before getting some more games for my system. Because of how cheap PS3 games can be my collection ballooned and B2 has been sitting on my shelf unplayed for almost a month.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Mostly because finding a full room with players who actually use their mic is an exercise in futility. I'll get into it again when the Cold Stream DLC comes out, whenver that'll be.

Halo: Reach - I got this because all my friends were playing it and the second I got it they all decided to get out of the house and become social butterflies and get jobs and shit. I've played with them a few times but still not enough to warrant the $60 I paid for the game. Can't play the multiplayer alone, hate it too much. What I've played of the single-player is good though.

Crysis 2 is going to become one of these games soon because I'm sick of the buggy single-player and the unbalanced multiplayer. I'd sell it but I just checked Ebay and only new copies are selling right now. Brink too for the same reasons I don't play L4D2 as much anymore, and because it's still full of bugs and lag.

Other games I own that I barely play: Saints Row 2, Singularity, Perfect Dark HD, RDR: Undead Nightmare, Demon's Souls, Bad Company 2 (And the copy of 1943 that cam with it), Resident Evil 5 (And my PSN download of 3), and the two free games I got from Sony, Infamous and Dead Nation. Would also put Portal 2 and Alan Wake but I just listed both of them on Ebay.

Good god I am bad at owning a bunch of games. There was a time when I'd just own 4-5 games at a time but I got so sick of buying games and not liking them and losing money on them trading them into Gamestop or selling them on Ebay or CL (And later rebuying for nostalgic purposes and selling them again for the same reasons I sold them in the first place) that I decided I would just keep all my games but now my shelf is just bloated with a bunch of old games I barely ever play.

I have a ton of games like that. I wish I didn't but what can ya do.

Magna Carta 2 is a big offender. I bought it and was pretty hooked at first, but the horrid voice acting and cliche story caught up with me. So I can only handle it in small doses. Which sucks because I'm close to the end but can't bring myself to play it.

There are a lot of Ps2 games that I have that I've yet to finish. Most of them are good but just lose interest half way through.

That would be Dragon Age 2.
Which I want to hold off playing until I finish Dragon Age Origins...Which actually better fits as my "I'll get back to it" game.

Touhou 8 - Imperishable Night

I've REALLY been meaning to sit the fuck down and beat Extra Stage but I just lack the motivation to do it.

Nice to see that Captcha is still throwing up random bollocks as opposed to actual words.

Got a lot of them. I probably get around to playing them sometime this decade.

-Final Fantasy 7-10
-Grandia
-Parasite Eve
-Fatal Frame 2
-Dino Crisis
-Devil May Cry 3
-Beyond Good and Evil
-Kingdom Hearts
-Megaman X8
-Comic Jumper
-Castlevania: SOTN
-Super Meat Boy

The weird thing about this is that I know I can probably beat all these games. I just have to set my mind to it.

I think it's because I'm so damn restless.......or lazy.

Let's go with the latter, just to be safe.

Brutal legend. Got stuck on Dry Ice, Wet Graves for a month and eventually gave up after being eaten alive by rats over and over again.

Zelda: A link to the past. Plus a lot of the potato sack games, though the chance that I'll actually get around to finishing those games is a lot bigger.

i also havent beaten Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, because i piled up so many quests and its confusing now. i also havent beaten Torchlight, Spare Parts, South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play!, or Section 8: Prejudice... havent beaten the Portal 2 co-op. and a couple others

these are all games i plan on beating, though... eventually

yes, you can. Also, you'll know the final boss battle is coming the second you get a certain announcement from Joker, and at that point, you'll have everything you need to get all the Riddler stuff

OT: Fallout 3, never gotten much further than finding out which Vault has the G.E.C.K., though I've played all the DLC except for Broken Steel

Gears of War because I keep getting killed and decide that I won't play it any more but I won't trade it in because I am determined that at some point I will complete that game.
