The track "Cornered!" from Phoenix Wright- You know, the one when you're winning and people start biting their faces off in anxiety and immense horror.
This. To date, it's by far the most intense video game music I've ever heard, which is really something considering the sound quality of the DS.

I'm in my giant robot in outer space. there's a swarm of bad guys coming at me, my robot has lost power, and I have to rewire that sucker and get it started before I die. Cue "Smack My ***** Up" by Prodigy

(Because I forgot to post a video before:)

There's a reason it's been in pretty much every action-y movie.[/youtube]

I know some people hate it, but there's a reason it was so popular. It's just always moving, and its tone is both dark and action-y at the same time. If I ever make a movie with an epic final battle, this song will be playing.

Rocking Fortress by a guy called Koolfox. It's perfect for a dramatic walk, or something else suitably epic.

Depends on the occasion I suppose. For all around awesomeness, I guess I'd say <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r810HVzKhtY>Fucking In the Bushes by Oasis (already stated), <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xt-ag7idHU>Estasi Dell Anima from the Zombieland soundtrack, <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV0wPBYDQ6Y>The Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone, or <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bg92QpjRcJk>For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica. For very fucked up or graphic ones, I'd say <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJNwcqQ9dao>March of the Pigs by Nine Inch Nails or possibly even <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WL5IRrhl20>Indestructible by Disturbed. And finally, for very silly and chaotic situations, <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEbE3fGfF-o>Oh No You Didn't from the Mercenaries 2 soundtrack. The fact that it reminds me of Deadpool helps.

I think these songs fit those moments nicely.

Gotta give it to the Castle Crasher's out of the ones I've seen in this thread. That song is awesome. I really want to play that game again now. =(

As I said some other time, somewhere else, this is the most epic song ever for me, and it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it:
From, more 'energetic, but epic power giving' category, definitely 'Sleep Now in the Fire' by Rage Against the Machine. Works for me better than the strongest coffee :p

Have you tried this: ?

Epicness of Cornered theme in orchestral version + orchestral version of next two cornered themes, which sounds awesome as well.
