Fallout 3. Seems appropriate for the described situation, and I could spend hundreds of hours in the game and never get bored.

Even though my favorite game of all time is MGS3 I wouldn't bring it because replay value is not as good as:

PC - San Andreas. I literally beated that game 12 times in 2 months after it came out. I was obsessed. I would be sad that I can't bring Vice City too though :(
You get the music, the freedom, the story, action and a nice big landscape. All you need in one game.

I would take an Xbox 360 (as long as it's one that can't red ring) and I would take Call of Duty 2, best FPS of the last decade.

PC and Duke Nukem Forever, the catastrophe is assumed to happen after the development of the chosen game, therefore this logic means, no catastrophe...ever and I can keep playing Fallout 3

I'd probably go with Neverwinter Nights, Morrowind, or Oblivion because with add-ons you can play 8 hours a day for a solid month. But if I picked a short game out of nostolgia, I'd go with Dungeon Siege, Baldur's Gate 2, American McGee's Alice, Serious Sam 2, Sam & Max, or Diablo 1.

Either Medieval Total War, or Medieval 2 Total War. I literally spend 24 hours in a car driving down to Florida playing Med 1 and I never got bored. Med 2 is equally as long-lasting.

I would save my PS3 and Kingdom Hearts. It is quite possibly the only game that I could never get sick of.Even if the first 5 hours of it are kinda lackluster.

PS2 and Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal

I played 14 "Challenge Mode" replays of a single save. I love that game.

One console and one game? Jesus, I better get a shotgun to fend of the zombie-nerd horde...

Halo CE. Trains me against a certain zombie horde and I've never gotten bored of the game. I'm gonna go with the most badass computer one could imagine, compact for carrying. I'm going to be able to get messages out there and start a resistance and a society around this bad boy. All based on the Cortana God, and her badass disciple, the Master Chief.

And hopefully those Halo nerds will be better than the current ones. Including me.
Your badass PC would cry if it could only ever play Halo:CE. Just saying.
The badass PC was more for rebuilding society. Halo CE was just kind of additional fun. Kinda like having solitaire on my current computer.

You know, if it was a game I'd have to be with forever, I might actually choose Minesweeper. That game, for some reason, never seems to get old. It can get annoying when you have to guess, but it's a game with near infinite different ways to play, and it's actually quite fun.
