Batman: Arkham Asylum. Worth enough to make a time travel machine to slap myself across the back of the head for not getting it sooner.

I bought a copy of Mass Effect 2 for my PS3 so I could compare the console version to the glorious PC version, and I'm not sure if it was a wise purchase.

Dead Rising 2
and not really...
i find it kinda dull and repetitive, which is odd considering how well it was reviewed

true that the broken DRM and internet stuff is really becoming a problem for PC gaming, just another way to ruin PC gaming (shakes fists at ubisoft) but retail was never a problem and frame rates isnt that big a deal compared to consoles. i mean if you spent the money to update your pc instead you would get more FPS than youll be getting with PS3, which is limited to your TV/monitor/projector and likely is quite ok, but does not beat pc. At least you didnt buy eggsbox and this fps limit wont come from console itself. (standard for tv is 50/60 depending where you live). 5 years ago i could have said "exclusives, what exclusives?" but its getting there too, sadly.

Now on topic:

Last game i purchased was fallout 3 (this spring) and it was worth it. Last game i have tried out however was World of Tanks (its free, so i dont add it to last purchase list) and it was worth it too.

Mass Effect 2 Pre-Owned for £8 ($12.85). And hell yes! One of the finest games I've played through in a long while. I decided to play the series as I've become more loaded with positive review after positive review. And for anyone in the position I was in a couple of months ago...play the Mass Effect series.

Cthulhu saves the world...
YES!
The fact it has Cthulhu alone already makes it more than worth it.

I'm pretty sure mine was "Fate of the world" for ?5,- and yeah, it was worth it. The difficulty curve is kind of steep though.

Brink. Not worth it as I have an i7 laptop with an Ati Radeon card which this game was apparently poorly optimized for so it's lags in areas with people. So like the whole game except the menu is a glitch fest

WoW Battlechest. Im finding it hard to see whats so addictive about this game. All there is to do is the same quests over and over. It actually rather boring.

Says the man who spent the last 6 hours leveling a Paladin from 1-29.

But honestly though, whats the appeal?

A dollar for Dungeon Maker II for the PSP, completely worth it 100 times over. Love that game.

So you'd recommend it? I was thinking of getting that actually.

The Sims 3: Generations.

not worth the £30 price tag but i had the spare cash, Next big buy is going to be Altair's sword from Assassin's Creed. I pre-ordered Skyrim but might need to upgrade it when the collectors edition is announced

"sadly"?

ha anyway its not even the exclusives, and Ive always been very posative in regard to retail for PC (its not too bad here)...but Now the selection is so much bigger its easyer to track down those more illusive games (I dont do digital distribution)

as for frame rates Im no tech nut about thease things (I dont care if its not at a certain levle)..but I know that I wont have to scrifice a game looking decent for it not slowing down to a slide show, I mean its never been too bad on my PC except for when things get hecitc and even then its never made a game that much less enjoyable (even saints row 2)

anyway now the only thing I have to worry about is with certain agmes..do I get them for PS3 or PC? god life is hard somtimes..:/

Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team on XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points (or $10).

I invited a friend over for some co-op, and we had a blast. Now I'm playing through the game on single player.

It's a little rough around the edges, but I'd say I got my money's worth from it. Kill Team also claims that it will unlock the Power Sword for Space Marine when it comes out, so that's a nice little bonus.
