I was at the place that is making our pressure suits for Lynx a couple weekends ago. This is a place that had been making prop space suits for movies and then decided to branch into the real thing, we were picking up a glove for testing whether the instrument panel would still be workable while wearing the suit.
Anyway, since most of us in the sortie from work (we were going to a Giants/Dodgers game after, it was a Saturday) had never been there before the guy gave us a tour or the place. It was amazing, there were lots of props used in various movies. My friend and I got pictures of us in the actual suits used in Firefly/Serenity and a bunch of other cool stuff, like recreations of the Apollo XI suits that are going to be in the (probably terrible) next Transformers movie.

Hmm when i First read Arron Demski Bowen's Soul hunter...every page is so wonderfully writen
the overall tone is so damned pitch perfect, the characters, the fights..ahhhhh..don't stop,
heres a sample
The walls were gold where the warriors dueled,both men wore the proud armour of their Legion, and both fough for Terra-one to defend it and die for the Imperium, one to conquer it and kill for the same reason. Their blades spun and struck untill both were broken ,then it came down to gauntleted fists and the strength to strangle .
I had to force myself to slow down so i would't finsh to fast...I did anyway.
oh and when i found out they wee making the walking dead into a tv series(sadly our cable lapsed, so i've yet to watch it)

I heard an awesome bit of Irish music, so now I want to make a tin whistle so I can play some of it.
