I just replayed Golden Sun TLA. Had another "oh, HELL YEAH!" moment taking down the Doom Dragon! XD
When I first started up Dark Dawn and I heard that so-very-distinctive opening theme tune for the first time in so many years...

Respect to whoever made the music for those games.
Totally. Finished Dark Dawn last week. Not as difficult but I relished the puzzles within XD

I'm so psyched for the next one!

15820 points in the Bulletstorm demo, with over 3500 of them in a single combo. Flyswatting Firefighting Toxic Afterburning death on 6 guys. Hell Yeah!

Plus any time I get one of those French Revolution bonuses. Can't wait for that game.

Other recent ones I can remember:

-The first test-firing of a wall of full-auto dispensers in Minecraft.
-Seeing all the new potential while playing LittleBigPlanet 2.
-Confirmation of Ermac in MK9.

Gonna start playing Magicka soon. I'm sure that will add a few moments to the list :D

I haven't had one in a while, but I had two fairly close to one another last year in Persona 3 FES. The second one being finally beating the optional new-game-plus superboss, and the one before that being finally getting the proper skill combination on the special Persona I used for said boss. Part of it was figuring out how to do it, because I only had part of the strategy spoiled for me, though I already knew too much for it to be a real challenge in that respect.

Those who know the game will understand what I'm talking about.

A tie between beating the Imperishable Night extra stage boss, and downing a helicopter in STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl with nothing but my assault rifle's attached grenade launcher.

Here's an example, using the boss thereof.

The battle is as sane as it is fair, put it that way.
Dude, the hitboxes in that game must be fucking tiny for that to even be possible.

My first homie bomb on the Bulletstorm demo was quite awesome.

Then there was the daunting task of gold starring Roundabout on expert drums on Rock Band 3. Still not sure how I managed it, but I'm not complaining.

I don't remember ever having one. Games barely never emotionally influence me, albeit piles of bugs and errors can lead to annoyance or frustration.

Not small enough.

NOT SMALL ENOUGH.

Also you start that stage with three lives. The stage and midboss will often rob you of them before you even hit the boss seen above. And yes, you basically need to instead gain lives on the way, and possibly during the fight too.

Also: I have another such moment recently, from a 4X, of all things. Galactic Civilizations 2, to be exact.

See, everyone was attacking me for, uh... existing, mostly. Everyone. Five civs, plus the Dread Lords, spawned by a random event. Dread Lords are GalCiv's eldritch precursor horrors. Their Constructors - the spaceship equivalent of a crane of bulldozer, used to make starbases, unarmed, unarmoured and with 1 HP in general - can take on corvettes and break even. Even my ridiculous capital ships were no match for them.

In short, imagine a reasonably powerful nation being attacked by all of Europe, China, the US and Cthulhu at once. You now have some idea of how far I was from a point where ships could save me. Instead, I used the ships to clear paths and act as escorts. You see, every enemy civ had their planets clustered fairly close together.

Below are a series of screenshots that showcase the weapon I used: The Terror Star.

Harper, with only one planet and no asteroid fields to mine. The only planet, Harper I, is uninhabitable and utterly useless. Perfect for a demonstration. Observe.

Harper is gone. The entire Harper system - admittedly tiny - is destroyed. Harper I is reduced to a nice, mining ship-ready pile of asteroids. More useful than the planet will ever be. If there were any ships or starbases around when Harper went supernova, they would have also been instantly destroyed.

That, as they say, is no moon.

The best part?

Neither are these.

All in all, that went well enough.

EDIT: with combined bombing runs from airports and carriers, bombardments from 53 battleships in the water and 243 modern armour rolling in.

i have to much time on my hands.

Was playing CoD: Black Ops a few days ago in search and destroy with 4 of my buddies (and 1 other random guy, it was 6v6) when suddenly "You're all that remains, finish the mission."
It was 6v1
I think you all know how it ended based on this thread =D
Best part was probably suddenly going back into the chat lobby with my friends (when you die in search, you go to a separate chat room so you can't tell the players who are alive what to do) and hearing everyone scream "NO FUCKING WAY DUDE, NO FUCKING WAY I TOLD YOU!!!"
Yeah that was fun ^^

Gears of War 2, on-line Horde. Map: Nowhere. One Boomer, One Mauler. The rest of the team had weakened them both down, but got overrun. I only had my shotgun left, but beat them down I did! It was a glorious day, a glorious match! We lived to fight another round.

I think it was in Vanquish a little while ago in which I just plowed through one of the more difficult levels like it was no big deal.

Going into Issac's mind to defeat the image of Nicole and destroy the Marker. When the Marker finally shattered and I was dumped back into the real world it felt pretty damn good.

A good run on Mount And Blade.

Oh look upon me and cower, all ye before me, for you are fated to die by my blade!

One that stands out was one time I was unhorsed, turned around and killed the three guys that took me down in three quick two-hander swings, with the animations lining up perfectly.
My biggest moment in M&B was singlehandedly holding a castle against over 200 people. Took forever, but since my nation was dominating the war, they only had low level troops. Just stood on the ladder with my bigass war cleaver and swung for 10 minutes.

Taking down a helicopter in Bad Company 2 with tank main cannon. I swear, it's the most satisfying thing ever.
TRUER WORDS = NEVER SPOKEN

i went on a 7 or so kill streak in a 5v5 pvp match in DCUO, only died once that round, and although we still lost, i was nothing short of amazed (netted 41 credits from a loss.... wtf??)

until that match, all my pvp experience consisted of me getting my teeth kicked in.

I play as Fiddlesticks in League of Legends.

Anyone who plays will understand what I mean when I say that getting a triple-kill from a Crowstorm is awesome.
