1: Shock.
2: Utter grief for loosing the few, well one actually, person I care about and how I could never start my new life and become happy.
3: Kill myself.

I must see that now, it sounds awesome, I love films/documentaries like that. When watching or reading about apocalyptic events, and usually how humanity trumps over them (boooriiiing), I enjoy reading about the aftermath and long term effects the most. Sadly, 99% of the time they just leave it at "and all is well" or "and all is fucked" and end the movie/book there.apsham said:That "Life After People" special or whatever it was called, that was pretty friggin' interesting when it came down to all that stuff like this. It detailed how long the world could go with power after everyone on the planet disappeared, how long buildings would stand, how long our current food supplies would.. there's a list of it here;

So yeah.. unless you had the skills to start farming right off the bat on someone elses plantation\ability to hunt and cook meat properly\etc.. you'd be good for a few days and then boom. Supplies of frozen food would go, as would your ability to cook longer lasting foods due to the power being gone, etc... and then once again it would all depend on where you were.
