After graduating from GCS, i've found myself a lot of free time in-between partying and working around with small jobs and in that time i decided to watch some old shows when i was younger and some new ones.

And my conclusion from this...i miss Toonami!

all the shows i've seen thus far are:

-Berserk ( i now know why its garnered such popularity, its great! )

-Gantz ( despite nearly everyone being fucking depressed about something and full of ham, it was ok. )

-Gundam wing and endless waltz ( i fucking loved it! i want the ost, i want to die screaming " ITS A GUNDAM! )

-Helling and its OVA ( the OVA is ok, though it doesn't hold a candle to the original in my opinion. )

-Highschool of the Dead ( i wish i didn't watch it in the first place...the over sexualisation just became unbearable so stopped midway in ep 7 or 8...)

-My little pony: friendship is magic ( same reason why a lot of other people like it. )

-Dragonball Z ( watching team4stars abridged series, still counts in my books. )

-Azumanga Daioh ( a good change of scenery, just normal kids going through school. )

-YU-GI-OH (same as DBZ.)

-Full metal panic (just finished season 1, going good so far soon i'll start the second raid )

So what have my fellow Escapee's been watching lately? any good/bad comments? Any strong recommendations? Share your experience with us.

Captha: do it now!

I've never been into anime much, but fairly recently I watched Cowboy Bebop and thought it was awesome.

I also over the past few weeks got through Legend of Aang and Legend of Korra and really enjoyed them.
I'm a huge comic book nerd so I'll watch pretty much any show based on marvel or DC so I watched Earth's mightiest heroes, Young Justice, Ultimate Spider-man, Batman the Brave and the Bold, and I've been slowly rewatching Justice League and am planning to rewatch Teen Titans after.

I'm also a huge fan of the Venture Brothers and watch a couple of episodes of that ever few weeks on DVD.

Well lets see...

-Gravity Falls (Really good, very goofy and quirky! The art is very well done too, gorgeous backgrounds and amazing character designs.)
-Futurama
-The Legend of Korra
-My Little Pony: FiM
-Madoka Magica

And I've been trying to watch the dubbed episodes of One Piece on Hulu, but knowing the sheer amount of episodes I'm going to have to go through... Kinda makes me nervous to do so. I probably will cave soon though, especially with so little for me to watch on TV here at home.

Edit: Oh and I plan to watch the upcoming Craig McCracken show for Disney XD: Wander over Yonder. It's Craig McCracken... How can I say no?

Avatar: Legend of Aang. Went back to relive that magic and it did not disappoint.
Avatar: Legend of Korra. Seeing this is what made me go back to the old series.
Metalocalypse. Been watching the latest series and some older episode just for the sake of it.
Oban Star Racers. Another anime I have fond memories with that I went back to. Also held up really well.
Futurama. Been watching the new series of that too.

Well since I watch shows/movies all the time, especially animated ones, I would appreciate if you could be more precise than lately, but here it goes:
-New Futurama season(it's good not extraordinary)
-The life and times of Juniper Lee(very underrated cartoon, try it if you have the chance)
-X-men Evolution(I re-watched it and am confident in saying that it is my favorite version of the x-men)
-Batman Beyond( it was pretty good but it could've been more refined)
-Steins;Gate(it officially became my favorite anime and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially if you're into time travel)
And at the moment I'm watching Toaru Majutsu no Index and will start Wolverine and the X-Men since I plan to watch all the X-Men cartoons.

Here are some currently airing shows that I've been watching.

Gravity Falls(enjoying it)
Motorcity(enjoying it)
Tron: Uprising(More than I expected)
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes(enjoying it)
Ultimate Spider-Man(Hit-and-Miss)

Futurama because it's one of the last good things on Comedy Central.

Deadmans Wonderland because I support Toonamis' triumphant return.

And Black Butler because a friend told me there was flamboyant, chainsaw wielding grim reaper.

Been trying to watch Baccano! but I can't find a good site for it.

What I just finished:

Mawaru Penguindrum- Heard good things about it, but I really HATED this show.

Kino's Journey- Saw it after Mawaru Penguindrum, which I needed because Kino was a fantastic anime.

Mushi-Shi- Same as Kino's Journey. Great anime. Better than Mawaru Penguindrum.

What I'm currently watching:

A Certain Magical Index- I went in expecting a generic action show, but what I got was something a lot more interesting.

The last full series I remember finishing are Oreimo and the first season of Moyashimon.

The former is great fun, with a misleading title, the latter is one of the greatest pieces I've seen in my brief existence.
