I stayed up all night playing a Counterstrike tournament with my friends when I was about 15. Our clan started playing about 7pm then the tournament games started about 11pm, I finished at 7am and had to go to school. I was in the same class as some of my clan and we looked like utter shit. I had a massive headache and my eyes itched all day. Didn't regret it though, had a fun night.

When I started uni me and my housemate who I'd never met before played Pain on his PS3 for 8 hours straight and didn't even realise. We just looked at the clock and were like "Dude it's morning...we should probably go to bed".

My longest can't have been more than four or five hours. I just don't have the capacity to sit in front of a TV (or really, anything) for more than that. I've left a console on longer than that, and I've played more than that in the course of one day, but with very lengthy breaks.

I went on consistently for 14 hours once. That was when I was trying to get the "7 Day Survivor" Achievement in Dead Rising. You have to play consistently for 7 days(1 day = 2 hours), your health slowly depletes, no health items respawn, and bosses and survivors are all over the place in different places than they originally were and have goodies if you kill them :) Oh, and you can't save.

8 in the morning till 10:30 at night(15 min lunch and dinner)

10 hour firefight on Halo:ODST. Me and my brother were playing to see how long we could go. At the end, we both just ended up suiciding to end the misery of it all. I don't regret it now, but at that time I did.

Longest unbroken gaming session was 48hrs of rome: total war and red bull. No i don't regret it because at the end i OWNED THE WORLD by the end, or at least i thought i did. Red bull can do that to you after a dozen or so cans

5 of us played a 3 instrument rotation on Rock Band 2's endless setlist. After getting the bladder of steel award, we were pretty drained. 6.5 hours. A funny side effect was that after watching the scale highway for 6 hours when you looked elsewhere stuff started to move.

Half Life 2 Deathmatch and WoW, poured so many nights with friends in those that I barely remember half of them.

gathered 10 friends in my (parents) basement, everyone took their computers with them, connected them all to the same HUB and started WCIII (WarCraft 3) TFT (The Frozen Throne, we played for 14 hours straight and we have done this a few times.

We played all the way through both The Two Towers and Return of the King in one sitting to 100% clear on both of them. It took three of us several days and several cases of Mountain Dew (it was before we knew about things like Bawls or Zenedge) to do it and we had to take turns sleeping but we got it all done and it was AWESOME!

I used to go to the ICafe allnighters a few years ago. 9pm to 9am. Its was pretty cool, but I didnt have a computer so all my friends were better than me.

We lan sometimes now, but mostly we dont bother setting up our computers and everyone just chats for 8-12 hours

I played Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast 2 for about 8 hours. I stopped for around 15 minutes when I hit 6 because my vision was blurry and I felt queasy. After it passed I got back up and started playing again. I don't regret it since it was a great game.

I think my longest has been about 10 hours with out stopping for more than the occasional necessary break. I've done it a few times, with Mass Effect 2 and FFXIII for example. No I don't regret it, why would I?

Ever since I pulled a few all nighters playing Civ, I've thought that games should be measured on an insomnia scale.
Just...one...more...turn...

I pulled an all nighter on SC2 the day it came out to beat the campaign. I don't really regret it now but I did the next morning in class!

My friends and I held an event called GNX: Gaming night extreme.
We used to have gaming nights, where we would either LAN, or people would bring over their TVs and we would all play different games. (This was before real multiplayer on consoles, so usually the best you'd get is 2 to a TV, hence the extra ones.)
Anyway, this gaming night extreme consisted of 12 dudes gaming for a straight week. There were naps and such, but there was always something being played at all times.
The numbers eventually dwindled to 5 people, and we capped it off with a marathon session of silent hill 1 and 2 back to back, which is double scary on massive sleep deprivation.

36 hours straight playing through both Assassins Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

Though if you don't count a few hours of sleep I have played WoW for four days without much else.

Got my spirit cat and raven lord out of it though. So more than worth the twenty boxes of rice crackers I ate to keep myself alive.

18 hours of D&D Heroes with three good friends, 5 kilos of mixed sweets, a crate of beer and 2 litres of port (the port was for me!).

No, I don't regret it. Best gaming session ever.....also the funniest. The race for the loot, the race to the front of the queue at the shoppe, tackling a firey level unprepared with only ice protection, all brilliant!
