So I'm a self proclaimed bad-ass Sister Sororitas. I fight people with metal swords, I like guns and I'm a large fan of video games. I do, however; profess to have a MASSIVE weak-spot for songs of the romantic persuasion, including those that are slightly cheesy. So I humble myself before you. Asking what my fellow Escapees find to be their love song. Be it Deep, Cheesy, Melancholic or Diabetes Inducingly Sweet, I would like to see it.

Currently I have a two song playlist for when I'm feeling "Lovey". It contains Homestuck version of "How Do I Live" and the song "The Call" by Regina Spektor.

Don't ask why it's the Homestuck Version >.> I just like the guy's voice.

Well...
My girlfriend and I have always had Daylight as "our" song as lame as that might be

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgBeu3FVi60

But for the romantic mood, there's always the French

Although The Call is a brilliant one as well :)

Love? What's that?...*forever alone*...

Okay, okay, my only real relationship may have ended in a fiery trainwreck before approaching anywhere near Love Central Station (god this is a tortured metaphor) but I feel if I ever do find love these would be the perfect couple of songs in which to revel in that emotion:

...Someday...

I love this song to bits. To me, it signifies the extreme difficulty in taking that first step (you know, actually telling her), and the potential for joy and happiness inherent to the decision to give it a chance.

Love... Lovelovelove... Love is a many splendoured thing, you know.

Despite my family moving to Aus when I was about 7 and a half, there are a few things about growing up in New Zealand which I will never give up. One of them is my love for Footrot Flats, and hence,
Shouldn't You Oughta Be In Love

In the movie, a chorus and some other small stuff is left out... Full version:

I have a love song for one situation...and one only:

Ok, seriously...I guess this:

Or this:

Admittedly The Postal Service's version is also awesome but I just love Streetlight. The brass version of the intro is brilliant.

Well, I'm not in a relationship or anything so I don't exactly have a love song myself, but I've always been a sucker for anything dark and gothic or emotional or just simply playing up the darkness inherent in people. Something about the darker side of love, that kind of thing. So here's a few I really like. Also, the band Hurts, you really need to see them live, as the amount of sheer emotion they put into their songs is exceptional and intense...

A Hermit's Cave
Not a love song per se, but a beautiful piece, nonetheless. It was our song when my ex-gf and I dated:

Two playthroughs and she'd be crying, almost without fail. Then I'd cry about ten seconds later...
