The double shot thing on COD4, when using a M40A3 with acog (on xbox)
you'll be perfectly aiming at someone, they shoot you as you pull the trigger the gun bugs fires twice, only using one bullet though, and misses :S

ive tried something similar in WaW (on PC tho). as soon as you press the shoot button, you get shot in the head by some asshole you couldnt see or the asshole you were aiming at.

When I first picked up Battlefield 2, I thought that greens were the enemies and blues were your friends (it's blue for friends, green for squaddies, red for enemies). So I spent 10 minutes hunting down and killing my squaddies before I got kicked.

Doing L4D, No Mercy on easy (we were trying to get untouchables) We go thru all the waves at perfect HP, get to the end, Helicopter comes, But doesn't close in time. We see a tank throw a concrete block, and all we can do is stare as it flies effortlessly across the roof, into our helicopter.

No achievement for us.

Or on CoD4, you go into last stand, someone doesn't know your still alive, they walk by, you kill them, feel so proud of yourself. Then you find out they were using the Martyrdom perk, and you just watch the indicator. That makes me feel low and helpless.

Starting COD4 was hard for me. The game was out for over a year and everybody was already good. I went negative for 6 weeks before I started to become a stronger player.

Halo 3, got shot in the head by my three year old cousin from across Valkyrie (or Valhalla. Valhalla, that's it.) with a sniper rifle. He literally crawled up to the controller while my other cousin was getting a coke, pressed it into the ground, and killed me.

I almost killed myself after that.

Half-Life 2, in a fight against two helicopter thingies. Destroyed one, almost got the second down and accidently fired when I was hiding in cover for a second. Would have been fine if I had the pistol out. Different story with the rocket launcher.
Also any time someone headshots me on Team Fortress 2 when I'm taunting. A pyro can't have a good ol' laugh without a sniper taking an oppertunity these days.

Somehow, I didn't get the watercraft in Half-Life 2 the first time I played through the Water Hazard level. I made it up to the physics puzzle with the washing machine and the ramp, but that's as far as I got.

I beat the entire Elite Four and all of my rivals pokemon down to Jolteon who I got to 50% health in yellow version with Pikachu and never had to revive him once and I only used to super potions. This may sound like I'm bragging but think about how high a level I had to get Pikachu to inorder to pull this off.

I can't remember what game it was, but I pulled of an amazing killing spree just to be killed by a guy using a simple pistol.

In L4D there was this kid, playing as Bill, that kept talking shit and ordering everyone around. He sounded like he was about 12 so it was extermely irritating. We were playing on expert and we were the only two left alive. I was about thirty feet ahead of him when we arrived at the safehouse, and he was telling me not to shut the door so he could heal before the next round. I immediately turned around and gave him a full clip of auto shotty to the face right at the entrance, then took his health pack and healed myself with it. Needless to say he wasn't happy, but myself and the others thought it wa hilarious. L4D is a game where you can't really afford to alk alot of shit.... I love it.

Back years ago, playing Fallout, in days before Fallout 2 had launched, I somehow managed to find Necropolis first (I hadn't memorized the world map yet), and with a level 2 character not only repair the pump and find the water chip, returned back to my vault in under 40 days.

Then I found Junktown, cleaned out Gizmo and the Skulls, found Dogmeat, and then went exploring.

I was doing great; it was pretty cool. I was levelling like crazy, getting all kinds of crazy luck. I'd made it to level 15 or 16, had great karma, had tons of caps and plenty of 10mm ammo and some spiffy customized leather armor.

Then I rendom encountered into 12 Super Mutants in the northwest of the world map, all of them with Gatling guns or Gatling lasers. My sequence sucked. I was cut down on the second burst.

I'd been playing for hours, and hadn't saved once.
