The only one I can think of directly (excusing an epic 3 hp killing streak (about 4 people) as soldier in TF2 I got last night (BTW soldier is my least played class

)) Is when I was playing The Witcher.
Early in the second Chapter (soon after I got into the city) I unwittingly stumbled into an abandoned house on a small side quest. Which I figured would be easy as it had a tiny reward.
Note I was lacking a good silver weapon. (which is good VS monsters) in the first room of the house were two ghosts, which despite me being unable to harm them through lack of a good silver weapon I managed to defeat with some help from my spells. Buoyant from my happy beginning (and what I thought end) I wandered down to the cellar to retrieve the wine the quest giver was looking for and finish the quest.
And so in this TINY basement I encountered 3 Graviers.... Which, I might had, Were a challenge when on their lonesome out in a field . Alas Retreating was not an option as Our hero lacks the ability to climb stairs when theres an enemy about. So it was a fight for my life. with only 2 healing potions and 2 other potions (which slowed time down a little and gave + to dodge and + to hit) I fought. These graviers together took up about a quarter of the space so there was little room to dodge and no place for respite. I used all my skills, leaping left N right, back flipping Somersaulting over backs, trying not to be hit. The graviers average about 45 damage a hit and my health was only 250. PLUS they usually swung twice in quick succesion. I did a similar amount of damage (35-40)but of course I could only get in a one hit to their two as any sort of combo would result in being surronded and hit by all three monsters.
Needless to say, death came close MANY times, but eventually my small health regen helped my win a war of attrition vs them and I retrieve the wine. And so weary and stumbling, I went back to the quest give and retrieved my 150 Oren reward.
The End
