So for any of you who don't watch The Daily Show, a "Moment of Zen" is basically a moment of something that makes life a little bit more surreal/ironic/"whatha-?"/"*blink blink* Ooooookay, then."

I had two Moments of Zen today. The first was having an allergic reaction...to my new allergy meds.

The second was while I was walking through the train station, and I saw a man in what looked to be his mid-thirties run by obviously in a hurry...dressed in a sexy French maid outfit (so the skirt came about mid-thigh, and it looked like he'd shaved his legs) and wearing cat ears.

So these were my Moments of Zen; what Moments of Zen have y'all had lately?

2. The Daily Show is awesome.

3. I now hate you for putting those mental images in my mind.

^I love it.

My zen moment was when I tried tear free shampoo for the first time. It got into my eyes and burned like hell.

You should go to Austin and meet Leslie. He's a homeless guy who's about sixty and wears womens clothes and runs for mayor every election.

He usually gets anywhere from five to ten percent of the votes.

I saw this failblog video on youtube where this woman falls off a chair, and the people around her grab the chair instead of her. It was quite hilarious.

I'm happy to see your replies to the almighty Pink Bean!

Also, to anyone else here who watches the Daily Show, High-pitched Banshee Whale.

Whenever I see Seth Rogan, seriously, that man confuses me with his funniness.

that second one sounds more like a hallucination caused by your allergic reaction to your allergy meds :p

When I thought about objectivity and realised that, being very very very slightly colour blind, my entire universe was slightly different to everyone elses.

My moment was when I was stuck on a subway train with a bunch of pantsless people and a pants salesman a few years ago.

When I entered high school, I met a bunch of people who enjoyed theoretical discussions.

One such topic was "Which is craftier: a zebra or a giraffe?" Of course there were much more serious questions, but that was the moment I became a nihilist.
