I've been lucky. I had a PubClubSub here until a very short time ago and I don't visit any other sites with captchas other than YouTube (though it could certainly help Cracked's forums a little), so I've had little experience with the dark side of ReCaptcha. In fact, they're generally more amusing than annoying, so I go along with it.
