Hey there, simple thread, im curious as to what your most excited for in the comming months/years and what your most dreading in the game scene, this is an open topic for all platforms pc, wii, playstation etc.

Please feel free to add why you want/dont want particular titles.
Also i appologise if there is another thread about this already, i did a quick check and couldnt find anything already posted/relevant to current up comming releases.

Now thats out of the way with i personaly im looking forward to:
(As a note all listed are the pc versions as i dont own the consoles)

Resident evil 6 & operation racoon city, 6 because i enjoyed the ever living shit out of re4 and it looks to be more of the same but better, racoon city because it looks like a fun co-op experiance.

Max payne 3, im a huge fan of the series and even though its mostly transported out of the noir york setting, im still massivly impressed with footage etc shown so far.

Guild wars 2, can't rememeber the last time i was actualy interested in playing an mmo, this looks to be pretty awesome.

There are other games but honestly those four peak my interest the most.

Moving on i can only realy think of one game that im particualry dreading the release of and that is mass effect 3, largely because its a game i want to play but have no intention of, atleast while ea forces the use of orgin for it and at this point its looking like that wont get repealed which is disapointing.

So anyway what about your most anticipated/dreaded upcomming release's?

Ya I'm pretty excited for this MMO as well. I'm pretty sure if Blizzard doesn't make the next expansion (Mist of Pandaria) free I'm going to switch over to guild wars.

Mass Effect 3 obviously, i'm still managing that media blackout for the most part too. And Catherine, Deep Silver are taking their time with this localisation/publishing thing.

As for stuff I don't want, i'll just say i've got Deus Ex (yes i'm late to the "baist gaem evar! party), Plants vs Zombies, a ton of Star Wars games, the MGS HD collection and The Darkness 2 to play. I don't need any new games for quite a while...

Fuck you Steam Sales! Why are you so awesome?!

I'm looking forward to the new Syndicate, and I'm antecipating/dreading Colonial Marines. The game has been in development for so long, but the gameplay videos left me cold... we'll see.

Since Metro Last Light has been moved to early next year it is my most anticipated game for for 2013.

My most anticipated games for this year are Dishonored (I hope it end up being good!) and Borderlands 2 (Damn I want to use those new Vladof guns!)

I can't think of any games i'm dreading this year yet.

Mass Effect 3, for one, naturally. Can't wait to see the end of the story.

Then there's Skullgirls, which I'm actually anticipating surprisingly even more than ME3. The game looks amazing and pushes all the right buttons for me. The day it comes out on PC I'm going to buy it no matter what.

I'm also mildly looking forward to GW2. Its concepts seem very appealing but I don't like the look of the game too much so far.

I'd have to say Dishonoured. I particuarly like the graphical style. Getting slightly worried as we haven't really heard any new information since it's announcement in July. Haven't even seen a trailer.

Also, Beyond Good & Evil 2. Which will hopefully actually be released. Before the rapture, anyway.

I'm really looking forward to Resident evil 6 and operation racoon city but sort of dreading it...I know there is going to be actual zombies in these but Whenever I get excited about a game it ends up being a let down (Red dead redemption, Brink, pretty much all the madden games, halo reach, MW3)

The only game I know won't disappoint is Mass effect 3 for single player content...the multiplayer is being met with cautious optimism.

I'm anticipating AND dreading the release of Syndicate.

Anticipating because the demo was fun and challenging and I like the games aesthetic.

Dreading because I'm afraid the campaign will turn out to be like 5 hours long and nobody will turn out for the co-op. Plus Starbreeze doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to post-release support so there might be a chance we won't see any DLC for the game.

Why would I "dread" a release? If a game is coming out that I know I won't like, I won't play it.

...Huh. That's odd. There really isn't anything off the top of my head that I'm especially looking forward to at the moment. I'll play Mass Effect 3 at some point, but I've yet to beat the first two games. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the South Park game, as well as Sonic 4 Episode 2. But neither of those are scheduled for release anytime soon.

I'm definitely interested in seeing if the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game can hold a candle to any of the better open-world Spider-Man games, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I remember how let down I was by Spider-Man 3 (The Wii version that is, because that's all I had at the time. I don't think the other version is bad at all)
