Forget big names like Uncharted 3, Batman Arkham City or another god-forbid Gears of War. I'm looking forward to a game that is off of most people's radars: Disgaea 4!!!

Skyrim and saints row 3. If Saints 3 makes as many improvements over saints 2 as Saints 2 did over Saints 1 then I reckon that Saints 3 will be better, I will still play both to death though.

My GOTY already came out (Portal 2). Now literally the only one I'm excited about is Skyrim. AC: Revelations looks excellent but I need to finish Brotherhood first. I'm not actually excited about the "big" ones at all - which is good in terms of my bank balance, haha.

Damn it you stole what I was going to say!

Anyway, yah Batman AC. Also Skyrim looks good, but I can't help but feel like I'm being mean to Oblivion, I rarely play it (actually I can't right now because my computer's f'ed up) and once Skyrim comes out I won't play it much.

Guild Wars 2.

If it's released this year.
If not, then:

Batman: Arkham City.

(Of course, if Tetsuy Nomura ever decides to announce KH3, that will automatically take the place of "most anticipated", regardless of the awesomeness otherwise being released that year. But we've been waiting for too many years now. I think most KH fans have just resigned to be happily surprised, if they ever decide to confirm it will be made.)

Skyrim. It simply looks amazing and I have played Oblivion more than many other of my favourite games put together.

Skyrim. I get very, very hyped about games, so I'm having a heart attack right now over it. I'm more cautious now, since Brink broke my heart.
Brink was developed by Splash Damage, only published by Bethesda. To lessen your worries.

I don't want to get too hyped up for Skyrim because of what happened with Brink (and the severe disappointment and I know,..Splash Damage and all that - but I'm still worried), but I ...I just can't help myself. Also, Arkham City. Yay!

EDIT: I'm probably going to get just as much flak for counting DA2 among this year's great titles as I am for not mentioning Skyrim.
With good reason. It wasn't a 'great' game, it was on the good side of average at best.

Also.. WOOT SKYRIIIM!

Oh, I know that. But I've been trying to to explode in excitement over it anyways. It's not working.

The Old Republic! No, wait, Mass Effect 3! Oh wait, Arkham City!

Seriously, there are so many good sequels I really can't decide.
The Old Republic
Mass Effect 3
Arkham City
The Darkness 2 (I think it's coming out this year)

Short answer:

1. Journey
2. SOTC/ICO HD
3. El Shaddai
4. AC Revelations
5. Skyrim

This year? Well, #1 would have to be Journey. Followed VERY closely by Shadow of the Colossus/ICO HD. I'm also excited for that El Shaddai thing that comes out on my birthday, and mildly excited for AC: Revelations. I'd be more excited if they hadn't been using Ezio for the THIRD FREAKING TIME. GRRRR.

Sorry.

I'm not particularly excited to PLAY Skyrim, since I didn't enjoy playing Oblivion that much, but I immensely enjoyed WATCHING my friends play it, so I'm excited for my friends who are excited for Skyrim.

Edit: Oh, and Arkham City. Actually, I'm more excited to play that than AC revelations...

Skyrim is coming out this year, so I was excited for that. Well, until I saw
<spoiler=This>If Saints row the third isn't delayed and comes out this year, then it's an easy choice for me really. I loved SR2

Kingdoms of Amalur
Heart of the Swarm

I guess I'll say Shinobi, since that's actually coming out this year. But then again, I won't be getting a 3DS for a while. The controls make it kind of hard to consistently pull off a Shoryuken in SSF43D.

It was Witcher 2 for the xbox 360 but the combat from what I seen of videos online and from what people said doesn't' really interest me. And even though I really liked Witcher one the gameplay isn't that replayable even though I will eventually for the story. Witcher 2 seems to be mainly for the graphics and story thus even though the story changes depending on your choices not sure if the actual game will be fun enough to replay that much.

I will say it is now Deus Ex Human Revolution. Wasn't hyped up at all for the game at first because of the trailers and somethings the developers said about the first Deus Ex. But from reading about how tDeus Ex 3 actually plays from the previews and stuff the game seems like it could be close to being as good as the first one. Considering how often I replay Deus Ex 1 and 2 this makes me think it will be the only game I will probably buy around the time it comes out. Because I have no life I can usually beat a game in a rental but the replayability of the Deus Ex games makes them worth having. I rented the first two Deus Ex games and ended up buying both. Also, Deus Ex Human Revolution is out in less then two months to that makes it that much closer thus that much more anticipated.

In my experience, people either love it or hate it. Hopefully upcoming DLC will win DA2 some points.
