I was pretty sure the bill only affected Tokyo, as in it had no direct power in places such as Kyoto, granted that's a bit like saying that a bill only affects Hollywood, but I'm fairly sure that it only affects Tokyo.

I got worried when I couldn't get any info on MGS4. Terrified me actually. I don't really keep on top of the new releases but I'd be furious if MGS rising was cancelled (I know the main character was a pansy in MGS2 and MGS4, but I'm willing to give him another chance). The new game engine looks pretty cool.

I'm quite annoyed with square enix though. FFVII Dirge of Cerberus should have had a sequel, especially after that ruddy 'hidden ending'.

How in the hell is Raiden a "pansy" in MGS4? He is a motherfucking cyborg ninja, what could possibly be more retardedly badass than that?! He raped a zillion giant robots WITH A SWORD! He held back a ship WITH ONE ARM!! He took on an entire room full of elite soldiers WITH BOTH ARMS CUT OFF!!! I honestly can't think of anything from any video game that compared to the level of sheer unadultruated cartoonish awesome that was MGS4 Raiden.

On topic: That said, if MGS Rising gets cancelled I'd be kind of pissed but I'd play one of the maybe 15 other epic new releases for 2011 that I'm anticipating like a salivating dog. Batman AC, Uncharted 3, AC3, Max Payne 3, COD: MW3, Red Faction Armageddon, ME 2 and 3 and the list just goes on. 2011 is going to rape my wallet hard.

The PC release of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood or any Assassin's Creed game coming out on PC (as in not a crappy spin-off for the PSP like Bloodlines) I'd be heartbroken since AC is one of my favorite series. What's worst though is that unlike say ME3 I can actually see the PC versions of future AC games getting canceled. I doubt it will happen but I can see it happening which makes me a saaaaad panda.

At least I'll feel better though when Ubisoft gets off it's ass and lets me pre-order Brotherhood on Steam.
