This second one was in Classic Battletech with optional RPG rules (just to clarify, NOT the Mechwarrior RPG game, the optional RPG and mercenary company rules added to regular CBT)

Damn that was a wall of text right there...
Just so I know, what game is this? Because this game, and your character, sounds awesome.

Edited to make you look bad, and answer your question. :p (sorry, but you HAD quoted the answer to the question right before asking it)

Shontlecakes, the sociopathic dwarf from Dragon Age: Origins (hey, you'd be a sociopath if you were named Shontlecakes) who finally redeems himself by
sacrificing himself to defeat the Archdemon. Biggest jerk in the world, and he became a paragon in the end, so fuck you Isolde, Connor's brutal murder was perfectly necessary, and so was headbutting you.

But he was outclassed severely by Company Commander Garret Blacknova, a renegade Comstar Adept who formed a mercenary company composed entirely from stolen Achileus Battle Armour. His first step toward fame was when he was the sole survivor of a unit and managed to single-handedly defeat an entire Star of Medium Clan Mechs. Crowning moment of that battle was him jumping over a Kit Fox (Uller), firing in mid-air at its back, and managing to catch a ***** in the armour through which a single bullet travelled, managing to almost cause a chain reaction in the Mech's fusion reactor, and forcing immediate shutdown. He took possession of that Mech (and its pilot. Arguing with a .50cal machinegun isn't sensible for someone with survival instincts and no armour), and sold it to fund his recruiting drive. It was a GOOD start to a career as a mercenary. He earned a reputation for daring and successful assaults on Mech units, and also for training the best Battle Armour troops around. By the time of his death (going toe-to-toe without backup against a Mad Dog-D (Vulture) Clan Mech turned out to be a mistake), his 2IC was as skilled a marksman as he was, and she took over the company. Her unstable personality resulted in her eventually taking the majority of the company to their deaths beside her, however, in an ill-fated assault on a Star of Clan Mechs much like those Blacknova had defeated right before he formed the company. It was, in fact, another Kit Fox which ended Commander Joanna Farquharson's life.
That was amazing! I want that game and i really want to roleplay a character now (sad face at complete lack of roleplaying games)

All that I know is that my fighter/rogue character in D&D would be much more badass if the multiclass rules in the 4th ed weren't so limited.

KoTOR's dark side character.
You take down the Dark Lord of the Sith and regain the title for yourself, convince a Wookie to kill his best friend (Mission), wipe out the Republic, gain the Star Forge and entire massive fleet. Also, you kill Carth Onasi (which is extra funny if you were a female and a tease to him like I was). Also, if you level correctly (don't try to be a jack-of-all-trades, basically), you're an unstoppable force. Both taking down an entire room with Force Storm and Force Jumping onto enemies with dual lightsabers one after another is insanely satisfying.

Velledominus Lycanbane, Dedicated Scholar of Hunger, Tempered of the Axe and Hound to the Prince's office. A ventrue pimp with a magic greatsword, a hand cannon and a pacifist streak. Once stood on the other side of a door negotiating with the man shooting at him for 3 whole turns before kicking the door down and emptying an assault rifle into the guy's sofa. Notable kills include a werewold chieften, The corpse of the werewolf chieften after being possessed by Jehremeel who had diablotised the Senaschel, a mage, a tremere, a handful of normal werewolves and various kindred. Also shot a man in self defense, went to interrogate him to find out who had kidnapped the gangrel in his employ, found out that the kid knew nothing and immediately... Picked him up and drove him to the emergency room.

VD: Hi, this man's been shot.
Dr: Oh my god, bring him this way... We'll need to ask you a few questions.
VD: No you won't.

Yeah, he was so Flamboyant yet dangerous that he became a running joke among our group. We had to burn his character sheet to prevent him rising again in any other campaigns.

He commands a team of badass level 100's and has legitimately completed the Johto Pokedex.
What? it counts.

The Bhallspawn.

'The Lord of Murder shall perish
But in his death he shall spawn a score of mortal progeny
Chaos will be sown from their passing
So sayeth the wise Alaundo
'

The Bhallspawn became one of the most powerful figures in Forgotten Realms, entire kingdoms quaked with his presence and armies were sent to try and stop him, but none could withstand his wrath. Even the gods held their breath to see what happened next, as this fledgling half-god creature left a trail of destruction in his wake such that even they dared not approach.

The scene where you're besieging the fortress of the Drow Sendai is the perfect example. When you first enter her lair she dismisses reports of a group having broken in, saying that her guards and traps will stop them. But when told later on that it's 'The Bhallspawn' she flies into a panic, calling her entire army to charge forward and to buy her time to prepare for battle. That's right, she sends an entire army to fight fully expecting you to slaughter it, just so she can have some extra time to prepare.

I don't think any other rpg has ever made my character seem so badass. Especially if you've played the series right from the very start and still remember when your character was a paltry level 1 wimp incapable of even fighting off a wolf.

Glorious!

My characters can't really qualify as badass unless you consider a ninja badass in the same way as, say, Chuck Norris.

Hiding in the shadows and using silenced weapons or 100% Chameleon spells is less "badass" and more "fuck!" on the part of the enemy.

But I did have one Fallout 3 build where my Good character was a power-armored, righteous, decent BAMF with a plasma rifle and a goatee.
