Your most dishonorable gaming moment

It could be considered a taboo to talk about, but although everyone respects fair play: everyone had one of those online of even offline moments where they said: "You know what, screw this, I'm going all out on my own party."

I'm not talking about teamkilling, but about being a douchebag or just being a real pain in the ass for your own team. What was your most dishonorable online moment?

I for one can remember those days when I played RTCW a lot online, especially the Beach map. And whenever one of my teammates (Allies) would crawl into the ducts, we knew that the map room was filled with Axis players. The guy in front of me would always hesitate to jump down into the room out of the duct, because it meant certain death for him. So I would often push or force them in the room and laugh my ass off when I heard those countless Axis bullets shoot him to pieces. I would leave the ducts, wait for the next poor soul to come along in the ducts and repeat the process. Of course, when there was a whole line of teammates behind me, I had no other choice than to jump down myself.

For the record: I don't approve this attitude, but I'm just trying to say that everyone has had one of those moments. If we can talk about the coolest moments in online gaming, why not about the most dishonorable ones?

Smash Bros Brawl: Eating someone with yoshi and then jumping off the edge, killing you both.
Little Big Planet: Grabbing someone and pulling them down with you into the spikes/flames/poison...

COD4

I played mercenary team deathmatch on Creek, camped in the house at the back of the hill with a red dot sight M16 and stopping power for the entire match and finished 16-0.

Beat that.

1. Playing F.E.A.R. Files solely for the achievements.

2. Using the Juggernaut perk (OMGZ GUIZE ITS SO BROKEN LETS HAET ON EVERYONE THAT USES IT) in Cod4 multiplayer, but IMHO that wasn't that bad of a gaming sin.

3. Setting the difficulty to 'Easy' on my third run through Bioshock, just so it'd be easier for me to get the 120 Audio Diaries without any unwanted Splicer interference.

Wll I know. WoW is all terrable and things. But when I was playing, my hunter had the abbility to pull other monsters to othjer people in my party. Just for "shits and giggles". I pulled A large boss to a fellow raid member. It wiped the raid of 25. Every one was yelling at me. I kept on doing it untell everyone left. I was reported.

It took over 45 min just to get the raid going. They were being dicks to me. So this was my reaction.

It wasn't online, but I had use a Game Shark to cheat in Final Fantasy Tactics my first playthrough because I couldn't beat the duel battle with Wiegraf. Of course, I chose the "MAX Speed" cheat, so all of a sudden Ramza has a speed of 50 and the game was thoroughly broken.

Don't let any fucking idiot tell you that Juggernaut's broken because it does, *gasp*, WHAT THE FUCK IT'S MEANT TO DO. It's not your opinion, you're just in the right. Seriously, it pisses me off. Everyone uses Stopping Power and so when someone uses the perk which counters it then it makes no sense to get annoyed. People never say that Sleight of Hand is really unbalanced or that having 3 Special Grenades is just ludicrous - they just hate Juggernaut.

I'll admit that rant was a bit off-topic.

I once fell through the floor by accident on WaW Multiplayer... and then I decided that I'd kill myself to get out of there, but I hadn't any frags left, so I just walked to the edge of the map and got surfaced on top of an unreachable rooftop. From there it was too tempting and I sniped myself a 15 killstreak until I ran out of ammo. That's one of my worse moments. As for just generally being an asshat to my own team, I never do that. I don't see the point.

Juggernaut isn't that bad. Skillful players can overcome it and it can be a help when you first start learning the ropes.

Martyrdom, on the other hand... now that is just cheap and needs to be taken out, or at least they need to lengthen the time it takes for the nade to go off.

You get a reward for sucking... awesome.

CoD4 online, I have knifed so many people in the back its untrue. People who block doorways and nearly get me killed are the first ones to get it.

Oh, I agree completely with you. I'm just saying that it COULD be considered a gaming sin by the unwashed masses. Juggernaut doesn't have the greatest reputation.

Haven't done it myslef, don't even have the game, but on gamesradar there was a feature somewhat similar to this and my favourite was on age of conan (i think, couldn't find the link) where the player rode a horse onto a narrow little path jutting out a cliff and faced its rear legs towards the edge then, whenever another player walked past, he made the horse kick them off the edge and they fell to their death

Well, I recently started getting overly-annoyed with people on Halo 3 (took me long enough). Whenever I play and my team is just too stupid, I start killing them. I also just flat-out quit on my team sometimes because of this. I didn't use to because I wanted to have a little pride of not quitting.

My most recent one was looking up a riddle from Batman: AA on the internet. I felt so incredibly bad afterwards, I won't do that again, unless I'm completely stuck, after which I will feel very bad again.

Once in Halo 3 some asshole on my team was afk the entire match. So I killed him, again and again. Finally, at the end of the game he came back and kicked me in the last minute of the game.

Day of Defeat Source.

Yesterday, on Donner. Four Americans ran out in front of my MG position, unfortunately thee german team mates were already stood there in the way. Rather than wait for the outcome of the fight, or telling them to duck, I just opened fire.

Mowed down all seven of them in one sweeping arc of death, the American kills balanced out the team kills on autokick and all was well. Can't say my team mates were all that impressed though.

Hehehe, TF 2. My best and worst moment wrapped all in one. I used to be an absolutely epic spy until I put down for a while than tried picking it back up. 11 cheap backstabs before dying. By cheap I mean dropping down behind 3 guys that just went in to my team's base, I didn't even need to cloak or use a disguise, and knifing them all up.

Other worst moment? Well, being a better than average sniper on most games, lots of people hate me. Then sometimes someone with a high rank will try to snipe and when I call them on their "trying" I am so nasty to them that I've created more than one rage quit, mostly because I get everyone else going as well. Serves those stat-padders right.

Erm probably the time when I was playing Red Alert 2 with a few mates on a LAN. I'd made an alliance of convenience with one and we were playing against the other two; I crushed one with a massive airstrike, then told my ally that I was going to Weather Storm the other base and needed him to mop up by sending his army in.

I lied. He died.

That reminds me, I once played in Call of Duty on PC online in this map that's in a forest.

Friendly Fire and voting were turned off and everyone was spawning in a bunker where I blocked its entrance. I vividly remember typing in the voice chat box: "YOU SHALL NOT PAAAAAAASS!!!"

I couldn't think of anything else at the time, because Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring was in the movie theaters at that time.
