A few of the BF1942 posts reminded me of a few horrible things I used to do in that game when it was first released.

A couple of buddies and I would go into a EA server with no admins and wait for the Omaha map (or what ever one that has the allies storming the beach from a big ship).

Here is how it went:

1. As soon as the match starts, have 2 people jump into the small transport ships as the driver and just sit there. Tell the other players that you are waiting for the boat to fill up before departing.

2. Have the 3rd player take control of the big ship and drive it off the map.

3. Laugh at people as they either jump over board and/or scream into the mic/chat as they die from drowning or the game killing them for going AWOL.

Now, if you do this correctly the Allies will not have a spawn point and the game would end.

EA patched this and made the transport ships immediately drop if you go into the drivers seat and made the big ship uncontrollable- bastards!

Also, you used to be able to plant C4's under your own team mates (snipers would work best as they do not move around much) and launch them in the air high enough for the game to think they fell to death, which counted for a suicide death.

Good times.

putting c4 in various vehicles in Bf 2 and 2142. Just when you thought it was safe to go trampling to the next CP, BOOM.

L4d2 in Dark Carnival at the end of the rollercoaster level oon expert, four of us running, the entire horde behind us, i realize that we'll never make it, i shoot my other three teamates incapacitating them with the autoshotgun and skip the alarm turning off button, going straight to the saferoom

I was promptly kicked.
I'd call that a legit zombie survival strategy, just gonna bite you in the ass later.

I have a tendency to over-utilize the M203 undermounted grenade launcher in both CoD4 and MW2. *winces* It's not my fault I occasionally can't get jack-shit in terms of a k/d! (I'll only switch over if I've gone two matches with a less than 1/2...and no, it generally doesn't help, but it makes me feel better.)

the only games that i will set the difficulty higher than the easiest is guitar hero or anything of a similar vein. i like to play games once, breeze through them and enjoy it, i hate a challenge and that is that. i dare you to find a bigger noob than me.

Company of Heroes comes to mind...
One match, my mate and I were playing as the allies. We had our opponents beat with the combined might of Army Rangers and Airborne Rangers. We decided to barricade the Germans in their respective bases and just use arty until they drop.
Arty camping sucks in that game. I don't condone the behavior, but it was funny.

I offered a very noobly person training for 1000 gold, which is quite hard to get at the start of Maplestory. I took it, and logged off.
I felt bad.
Thats not cool dude. :p

Whenever I look up something on the internet I feel bad, most recently, I looked up what to do on Assassins Creed 2.

I was stuck on the Altier flashback and I couldn't grab that stupid pole no matter how hard I tried.

But I don't really feel bad for that one. How was I supposed to know to hit those buttons?

I just finished my first play-through of dragon age origins and I felt pretty dirty saving before then replaying every part where I had to make a major decision until I got a result I wanted.

I spent a good half hour trying to get that thing until I said, "Screw it," and looked it up. You are not alone.

Well, there was that one time where I killed everyone in some city in Oblivion, and there was an unkillable guard. So every time he got up, I knocked him out with a different weapon that I had. This was after I'd finished the main story and the DLCs, so I had quite a number of weapons. Or I'd charge kill him while he was running at me, making him ragdoll to the other side of town, so that when he got up, he'd have to run across the city just to be thrown back to where he started.

This one time in Halo, I forget which map, but I was driving one of those flying things with a passenger/shooter seat, and I started it moving towards the cliff, jumped out, and watched it and my friend fall into the abyss.

Railgunning people who get on launchers that shoot over an abyss on Quake Live. It really stops their momentum, so they fall.

Well excuse me for picking easy targets.

I used a Game Shark on Final Fantasy XII a long time ago. That final boss would not die so i used the code for infinite health, and I still got killed.

Karma: In Halo 3, my teammate was annoying me - he happened to be in a banshee and I happen to have a spartan laser. I lasered him, and his Banshee clattered down on to my poor, delusional head.

If my team-mates are abusive to others on my team, I often find a way to get them killed. If they're abusive to me, I often join the other team and hunt them down specifically, only killing others in self-defense.
