I'm truly a horrible person. For the most part I do my best to play fairly, but sometimes....oh sometimes.

On TF2 I always run in front of the sniper's scope to piss them off. As a medic I'd follow my team's spies when they are disguised (calling 'Medic' constantly so that they'd be noticed). I also get my uber built up and follow someone in, only for me to uber them then run away allowing them to die by turret/enemies. As an Engie I would build teleporters that lead to areas where my team would get stuck. >:)

In L4D I always run through and alert the hordes and witches. I never go back for my teammates (unless I'm playing with friends, then I might...) and I always close the doors right before they run inside.

Mine is more of a reataliation. I can't stand how people in Halo 3 betray for weapons, I never pick up a power weapon unless I'm sure I'm the best person on the team to use it. So if some asshat betrays me for the sniper, I don't get the boot option and I hear shots but no kills I will help the other team take him out to get it back.

I once followed a guy aroung keeping his sheilds down for the whole game, he betrayed me for camo - after I had it already. We were losing already so I didn't care.

Playing Counter Strike: Source, on zm_wtfhax. In the box room I pressed the button when they were on the only remaining boxes (high above the floor) (for those of you who do not know the 'button' breaks the top two layers of boxes). I wasn't even a zombie I just hate it when people do cheap things like that in the box room.

In COD 4 and COD WaW, I often lay prone inside dead bodies, and keep still. When an enemy walks in front of me, I either knife them in the back or get an easy headshot.

The best place to camp is inside dead bodies; seriously, nobody EVER thinks that you'll be there.

It could be considered a taboo to talk about, but although everyone respects fair play: everyone had one of those online of even offline moments where they said: "You know what, screw this, I'm going all out on my own party."

I'm not talking about teamkilling, but about being a douchebag or just being a real pain in the ass for your own team. What was your most dishonorable online moment?

I for one can remember those days when I played RTCW a lot online, especially the Beach map. And whenever one of my teammates (Allies) would crawl into the ducts, we knew that the map room was filled with Axis players. The guy in front of me would always hesitate to jump down into the room out of the duct, because it meant certain death for him. So I would often push or force them in the room and laugh my ass off when I heard those countless Axis bullets shoot him to pieces. I would leave the ducts, wait for the next poor soul to come along in the ducts and repeat the process. Of course, when there was a whole line of teammates behind me, I had no other choice than to jump down myself.

For the record: I don't approve this attitude, but I'm just trying to say that everyone has had one of those moments. If we can talk about the coolest moments in online gaming, why not about the most dishonorable ones?
In CS when bored of dying by rushing with nothing but a knife in hand I'm often one of those guys who ducks for dear life and yells "Go Go Go!!" to his teammates.

My most 'shameful gaming moment' however would have to be once playing Dark Messiah on a friends Laptop when I asked him "Don't you wanna save?" he answered "all good I got god mode on." 2 minutes later i was thrown off a cliff by a blood golem guy. That's right, I'm the man who died with Godmode.

1. Playing F.E.A.R. Files solely for the achievements.

2. Using the Juggernaut perk (OMGZ GUIZE ITS SO BROKEN LETS HAET ON EVERYONE THAT USES IT) in Cod4 multiplayer, but IMHO that wasn't that bad of a gaming sin.

3. Setting the difficulty to 'Easy' on my third run through Bioshock, just so it'd be easier for me to get the 120 Audio Diaries without any unwanted Splicer interference.
Juggernaut isn't that bad. Skillful players can overcome it and it can be a help when you first start learning the ropes.

Martyrdom, on the other hand... now that is just cheap and needs to be taken out, or at least they need to lengthen the time it takes for the nade to go off.

You get a reward for sucking... awesome.
Hey, if I didn't get a reward for sucking pure ass then I would have no awards :p

But yeah, your probably right, Martyrdom needs to be sorted out.

I reckon my most dishonorable moment thus far in games has been killing people (on various platforms) who are obviously AFK. It is my shame.
Even if they just made the fuse that little bit longer, like one second... then it wouldn't be so annoying.

It makes playing on shipment an absolute nightmare too... everyone has the shits and it was grenades for tea last night...

I refuse to use it on that map (or any map for that matter) even though it puts me at a disadvantage, I keep my nerd-honour.

Playing Red Faction:Guerrilla,Finding the very final mission to Hard on Normal, and cranking the difficultly down to Easy for that one mission..
If you want to beat it on normal or hard I figured out a good strategy:

Bring the electric gun with you. Take the tank as far as you can before it blows up then get out and electrify the nearest enemy vehicle, killing everyone inside.

Get in the vehicle and drive as fast and far up the road as you can, when it's about to blow up, park near another one and repeat your actions. Igone the baddies unless they are blocking your path.

You can leap frog from car to car and get to the top of the hill, at which point the enemies stop respawning so take your time and pick them off carefully.

The reason it is so effective is that you are invincible when getting into a vehicle and can get a chance to regenerate your health.

Once you get to the tank at the end, just hide behind a rock and pop out with rockets.

Good luck!

Cleric in Fiesta. I kept trying to either kill the monsters, or run away for fear of being killed, and with the lag on my computer i couldn't keep track of my team mates. Though this has more to do with 'god damnit camera' and 'wait how did you get over there' than being an asshole. though i have been a dick to people at times on the internet, just not in games. The only real thing i regret is not going back on ever again after a while.

Gears of War 1. Team Killing is on. I have a boomshot. The rest of the players are all involved in a clusterfuck in the center of the map. Me - "Say hello to my little friend!"

COD WAW on the new nazi zombies map I just stay beside the mystery box while everyone else go's off to get perks or guns or to kill zombies I just switch on the electric fence and laugh as they all get trapped in the small space between the fence and were the zombies spawn

oddly enough someone tried this to me while I was right under the fence and I survived just walked out of the electricity stood beside him and laughed at the other two

I don't know if anyone has had this as well, but when a player decides to just randomly buy new passages in Call of Duty World at War (Nazi Zombies), I tend to just go nuts and open all the passages, just to screw my team for being such dumbasses.

I only had this for one or two times, but it was satisfying to see them suffer for screwing up the tactical approach when you're in round 15 or 16.
