Let's say that you've been trapped in some part of the earth with an extreme type of environment; like you're in a bone chilling tundra or a dry, hot desert, or a disease ridden jungle swamp or something.

Which would be the environment you'd want to be in the least, the one that would actually scare you to be in.
Take into account, not just the area but the animals (especially the predators) in it.

I would have to say the southern states in america in the wilderness the scary part is not the predators but the hillbillies that will try to rape me when i am asleep.

A desert. I can't stand extreme heat, despite the fact that I live in Australia.

Probably (apart from war zones) very dense jungles somewhere (South America or Africa somewhere). I probably wouldn't last a day without dieing from getting poisoned/eaten, and if I did, it probably wouldn't be long before disease got me.

Anywhere that forces you to walk on sheer cliffs, where you have to hug the cliff side because I hate the feeling that I could slip and fall because I suck at shimmying. I can tolerate something like skydiving because there's away to escape an emergency situation, cliffs, I just keep falling and all that time, I'll be thinking "I'm SOOOOOO dead!".

That and deserts because I hate anywhere that's can get over 100, even on the coldest day, without a common source of hydration, food and shelter (shade).

Well these only would bother me if I'm alone. If I have someone with me, unless they're trying to kill/eat me, I would always be optimistic and make light of every situation, even if I'm on the verge of death.

Lost, surrounded by unfamiliar people.

...I'm slightly social-phobic, and I'm trying to cure that.

In a space that conforms to my body, but not perfectly. A space in which I have about a centimetre to move in over every inch of my body.
Bonus points if I can barely just look down & the surface is translucent with white light behind it.
I'm gonna have nightmares about that. Thanks alot D:

Ummm probably the antarctic/arctic where it's terribly cold... Especially if I'm on my own. I hate feeling lonely.

Deep under the surface of the ocean, in the middle of the abyss just floating there, the idea that safety is not guaranteed from any direction and the possibility of things that could breath and accidently ingest me frightens me to no end. We haven't found any levithans but I sure as hell think our ocean could support them. I could deal with something that big on land because I could find a place to hide, underwater until you hit the bottom there is just of it, water. Especially frightening if the water is murky.

On some sick level this may be why Cthulu is my Favorite Lovecraftian horror.

I have to say jungle/swamp. Just because you can't see anything, your always wet, most animals want to kill you, and the ones that don't can kill you anyways. And not being able to see where you step will mind fuck me within an hour.

Then again I live in Canada, I love snow and the cold and I know how to survive it, both day to day and if I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Arctic-type environment. Yes, I'm from Canada, but that's just shown me how damn much I hate the cold.

I hate being anywhere dark. Not night dark, but pitch black dark. I'm fine under an open sky out in the country, or anywhere there's light pollution. But my room, with all the lights off? No freaking way. I'm opening the door to my bathroom.

Oh come on. Most of us aren't that bad.

You might want to stay out of Alabama and Arkansas, though.
