Holy fuck, Edgar Ross can have all my hate. I honestly failed like 20 missions in a row on purpose because I kept emptying my shotgun ammo on his stupid face.

OT: My most hated antagonist would be Hans Tiedemann. (http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/Hans_Tiedemann)

I loathed that idiot. Every chance he got he would make my life 400 times as harder, just because he though he was doing the "right thing". God it felt so good when you...

Shoot a javelin through his neck, then he'll fall on his knees, and proceed to chop off his stupid head with another javelin through his skull

What an arsehole.

They're a maneater!

*Ahem*

Maneater, certainly, is one of my more disliked bosses amongst gaming, but, I'll have to toss in my own nomination.

Hated because I loved to hate them: Kefka, from final fantasy six.

Hated because they weren't very memorable: The mercenary corps from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I almost said Dimitri from GTA IV, but then I remembered I made the right decision in the end ;)

So probably the maneaters from Demon's Souls... *shudder*

Right now it's "Stray Dragon" in Dark Souls.

But all time? Lavos from Chrono Trigger. HOW MANY TIMES MUST I KILL YOU?!?

Goombas. They're incredibly weak but can kill you with one hit if you don't have a mushroom? What the hell kind of logic is that?

Dullahan from Golden Sun 2. He's the only boss that I can never defeat and I want to kick his ass so much! Also Jared Slim from Timesplitter 2. He often killed me alot for an AI during multiplayer.

hard to choose, so many i have problems with to some degree, if i had to choose, either ansem from kingdom hearts because he has like 7 battles in a row each worse then the last, or the queen of ice from enchanted arms, just because of how much of a ***** she is

Velo, from Crash Nitro Kart. Why? He is literally fucking impossible to beat.

That's a difficult question, most of the time I have to blame the protagonist (hero or player) for not shooting him while he still could.

Remember this one?
Even though his comments sometimes where almost funny he deserved to die but our moronic protagonist is just too stupid to kill him, he fails repeatedly and entirely. So I blame the protagonist.
So - yeah, the most hated antagonist in the game is (in most cases) the protagonist himself for NOT immediately shooting the bad guy when he had the chance.

Does the rival from any pokemon game count? I always hated that no matter how many times you beat them they still bragged about how much better than you they were...

Or Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors, he just wouldn't die.

If we're talking about generic, non-characterized characters, then, by far, my least favourite enemy is the Regenerators from Resident Evil 4.

First of all, their breathing is less scary, more an indicator of, "God Dammit, now I've got to waste another 200 of my TMP bullets that I've been saving".
I truthfully couldn't get past them the first time I saw them, and decided to not read any FAQs. Thankfully, I finally read that memo Luis left, saying that I needed Thermal gear to see it. I asked a friend, and he said that you had to purchase a certain upgrade for the rifle for that.

When i heard that, I kind of gave up on Resident Evil 4 for a while, because 1; I didn't have enough free (not from equipment) money lying around to buy this, and 2; I didn't want to waste so much ammo on the first few I fought before i got the upgrade.

Maybe I'll try to play it again and maybe just run away from them. They are quite slow, anyway.

IF we're talking about Characterized Characters, then my least favourite Antagonist is Alexander Leland Cayne from Hitman: Blood Money.
If you don't know who this is, this is the guy who is in the wheelchair, blue-balling the reporter on how many times he "Killed" Agent 47.

I kind of hate the way how every mission began with a cut-scene of him saying something like, "... and then we found him..." or "... And the perfect trap was set...", making me double paranoid of everyone, and thinking that, out of no-where, an agent would attack me(like the "Terminal Hospitality" level in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, when, at the end, you get ambushed by one of you clones).

I probably thought too much into this, since nothing really happened, especially at the mission when you meet him, and he says, "Let's have a duel: You and me. Come to (x) location so i can have my revenge". I checked on of the hints that you can purchase, and it says, "Don't Trust the Devil", which told me that this guy, who in this level was dressed as the Devil, shouldn't be trusted. So i simply killed him right away, kind of ruining my stealth rating, figuring out that he actually just wants to duel you.

His arrogance was un-refreshing, he somehow survived 50 or so bullets to the face, and he runs away at your own funeral. This man deserved to be handicapped (and no one really does).

Fable 2, the guy at end was just a let down really. I can't even remember his name now but all he does at end is not finish a speech and die. I was expecting some sort of battle but got a old man that died from one bullet.

My most hated antagonist in a video game is GLaDOS.

And I mean that as in, I love her as a character, and she's also my most favorite antagonist, but the reason she's my most favorite IS because I hate her so much.

I love her because I hate her.

If they can get me to feel that strongly about a character, then they're doing something right.
