I love the Tekken series, in fact I would say it is my favorite fighting game franchise to date. Out of the Tekken titles so far, I have enjoyed Tag and 5 most of all, but my favorite would have to be Tag for one reason: Jinpachi Mishima. In Tag the final boss is pretty reasonable, as it has an actively regenerating health bar, yet it fights you alone while you have two fighters which you can swap out (which is great because the boss switches fighting style and you never know what you might face). However, the final boss of Tekken five has caused me to be on the verge of rage quitting countless times, but I usually do not because luck can cause you to win against him. You can forget about your long hours of hard work perfecting combo string execution because this boss can halt you i your tracks with a stun move, which has speed priority that trumps every other attack in the game, and hits you high, low, and mid-section given that you're in proximity for the attack. It does not do damage, but Jinpachi will typically follow it up with one of two other cheap attacks: either his "hug" attack which drains your health (the only other character in the game to have healing abilities is Yoshimitsu), or this fireball which shoots out of the mouth in his stomach (the only other character in the game to have a ranged attack in the game is Devil Jin), which is not only unblockable, but takes off well over half of your maximum health. Sorry Namco, but Jinpachi Mishima is not a good final boss, just insanely frustrating.
