I feel your pain. That quest was my most hatted in the game. I always dreaded it.Korovashya said:I don't know if any of you played the very first fable game. (Back when it was just another fantasy RPG, and funnily enough, included a story) But there was one quest where you had to rescue a little kid from a cave of Hobbes.
My God it was bad, the whole way he absolutely insists on standing right where the enemies are, and has a health bar shorter than a critter's. On top of that, he has without a doubt, THE WORST voice acting ever to be cruelly inflicted on a players ears. His tone of voice his so bloody annoying and constantly whiny that it would make anyone pro-choice.
I've never played Fable, but mine is similar. Near the end of Psychonauts you have to escort this kid (who is actually part of the villain's subconscious) around a nightmarish (literally) merger of his and the main character's childhoods. And besides keeping him alive, you have to help him rescue his pet bunny. And when he gets the bunny he uses his propeller beanie to fly to another platform where he immediately loses the bunny and gets attacked again. And some of the obstacles the player has to pass between platforms would be keyboard-smashingly frustrating on their own. It does this several times; if the kid dies you have to start the whole level over.Korovashya said:I don't know if any of you played the very first fable game.
