most disliked cliche: hard to pinpoint but When a man is ment to be portrayed as an imature manchild often he will play videogames or like to do crazy fun things or even collect action figues

while woman are the serious ones who want children and commetment from the man and want to get rid of all his cool stuff ans erase any sense of his identity and videogames and SHE IS RIGHT acording to the movie and all women like clothes and shoes and having discussions about shallow crap (while not the most blatant example knocked up comes to mind)

FUCK THAT I couldn't care less about shoes, and I like shopping.....for games

oh and walking unflinchingly away from an explosion is just too over used

Hate: The choosen one... I hate any fantasy where the main character is somehow born to be the hero and save everything. Its been used sooo many times. And there is always a stupid prophecy.
I agree, I like the idea that a protagonist has to struggle to earn the title of "Hero" and that they choose to take action instead of having it thrown into their lap

I think this is actually deconstructed really well in dragon age with the grey Wardens, oh so you want to be the hero and save the world? ok then join the grey wardens! first though you have to drink darkspawn blood and theres like a 50% chance youll die, ok then surved that. now you have the taint! that means you can sense darkspawn! awsome right? oh yes there is the bad dreams but theyll go away

oh ummm we forgot to tell you , you only have about 30 years to live then that taint will start to take over and turn you into somthing horrible...most wardens just go off and fight darkspawn untill they die, but thats only if you dont slay the archdeamon, if you are the one to do it then your soul will be destroyed and you will die, Being the chosen hero is awosme right?

Least favourite: The irrelevant, pointless conflict with the main couple or the hero group that splits them up, but would be easily solved if they just freaking talked to each other. I hate it even more if it's justified by character X being "a loner". Stop padding out the story by making the main characters look like idiots.

Favourite cliche: The morally gray person/honorable rival who defects to the good side at a pivotal moment. I like it even more if they elect to hand in their resignation from the evil side in the form of a bullet to the face of their old employer.
